Eduard photo etch Railings 45’ 2 bars long and 3 bars long

1:700 Eduard

Eduard are cranking out some very useful sets for modellers of 1:700 maritime subjects at the moment, the latest of which are these handy frets of 45’ railings. There are two types of railing included in each set, so you can choose the type with the appropriate distance between stanchions depending on your subject. The quality of the frets is excellent as usual. Tweezers, a very sharp scalpel and a steady hand will be needed to get the best out of these parts, but if you have chosen to model in 1:700 scale you should know what you have let yourself in for by now!

Conclusion

This is another very handy pair of frets from Eduard. Small photo etch parts like these may be fiddly, but they are well worth getting to grips with as (to my eyes anyway) they really transform maritime subjects and lift them up to the next level.

They're designed to be used on stairways.
