The standard of entries was exceptional and I think everyone deserves a pat on the back. Just so people know, the result wasn't fixed! 1st Place - rowmk9 - C-47, Armee de l'Air - French Indochina, 1953 2nd Place - Warris - Dakota MKIII, RAF Broadwell, D-Day 1944 3rd Place - AndyC - AC-47D, Udorn AFB, Thailand, early 1970 A picture each of the top three. 1st 2nd 3rd What I like about the top three is that they cover three conflicts, three operators and almost thirty years service.
