Paul J
Just a couple of many of my P-51 pics. I'll try to find more from my external drive. meanwhile the first one... This one is in the fantastic museum at Rockcliffe, Ottawa in Canada. The scheme is sort of authentic. A shame really as it gives a false impression of how it should look. Not one to use as a reference for colour demarcation etc. But still nice to look at though. This one is one of a pair of the few UK based P-51s. IMO, the nicest airworthy ones in the country and ownd by Maurice Hammond. Picture taken at Shoreham earlier this year. Paul J
A couple more of mine but its 'Ferocious Frankie' again. taken at Shoreham Air Show a few years ago around 2006 I think. The post war prop is what I tried to acheive with my 'brown' P-51 in this GB. Just a small point and several here may already know this, but the original 'Frankie' was an earlier D without the fin fillet. There are several photos of it in various Mustang publications that show this. Edited December 22, 2011 by Paul J
