I shelved it when the paintwork went wrong. te original WIP is HERE An Fujmi 1:48 F-4E in USAF Thunderbird colours. An awful kit and ruined by me with a rubbish paint job. I've started rescuing it by stripping the paint and then put it to one side again. Todays striping and scraping efforts Oven cleaner has removed the white paint but not the rattlecan primer. Sometimes it's easier just to scratch one and write it off and walk away. better that than really losing it. (yep, I've bounced a few models that wouldn't play myself!) So one now has to ask. what Next? Dave I started making this pile of poo when I first got back into modelling and I didn't do a very good job of putting it together. Trying to get the old automotive paint off has been a bind and I'm finding bad mould marks, sinks and the like all over it. What next? another Phantom of course!
