Owen
Here are a few pics of the day. Overall, the day was pretty good. The heavens opened just before flying started, so things were delayed slightly. But otherwise, things were pretty good. The line-up was good to, although the Planned Spitfire couldn't make it, and the other spit only flew past once then went off. There was a Seafire which made up for things. The Dakota was also very impressive! There were a few very good examples of Jeeps, Matador's, C8's and Dodge Trucks, plus a trade stand with lots of kits. I didn't look though, as I knew that otherwise I would walk out with my pockets empty and hands full! I'll let the pictures do the talking. Apologies for the grainy quality, these are cropped from the originals. Dial-Up users, there are lots of pictures, so things will take a long time to load. AEC Matador: Chevy Staff Car: DH Chipmunk: BoBMF Dakota C-47 Hawker Hurricane Mk.I http://airfixtributeforum.myfastforum.org/...49349.php#49349 I would post more pictures, but the machine won't let me! Owen
Same thing innit really though! I suppose it's like you calling a 4MT a 5MT, or a 2-4-0 a 4-6-0 A few more pics can now be posted hopefully: P-51D 'Big Beautiful Doll' Supermarine Seafire: Stearman Trio: T-28 Trojan in Belgian Air Force Markings: Edited June 25, 2007 by Owen
Gary West
Owen.Re: the T-28 Fennec. It's actually in French Air Force markings! Not bad for a treadhead eh?! But isn't it the same thing Daz
Owen
That would explain the Crosses. The roundels on the wings look just like Belgian Markings. Maybe they're just faded?
