Tizzy
In my quest to fill my shelves with Spitfires, following on from my MkI,i have just started building a MkIIa from the Tamiya MkI kit.I am making this one with the cockpit open and using an Eduard Zoom photoetch kit to add interest to the interior.I will be using a Rotol prop from Aeroclub and decals from Xtradecal. The aircraft i am planning to make is P8522 RF-W of No303(Polish) squadron,'Melton Mowbray and District',based at RAF Northolt,July 1941. The progress so far. Cockpit sidewalls detailed. Interior detailed. Since doing these photos i have cocked up the p/e seatbelts and seat and had to resort to the kit seat which is a bit of a tight squeeze withe the extra sidewall details.Photoetch and 1/72,combined with sausages masquerading as fingers are not a good mix! Thanks for looking.Cheers
