smuts
hi guys, I knew the 262 I was building was going to well just come to fit the wings & this happens....... its around a mil+ at the high spot, the wing roots match up fine & the same with the rear (tapped), so took the wing off removed the tank as it might have fouled on that eased the bulkhead try again the same. tried to ease it down & heard the sound of creaking plastic eased some of the wing & U/C bulkhead no change, read four reviews of trumps 262 before I started looked at online builds about an hour ago not one mentions this area as a problem just a bit of filling. to be honest looking head on the wing looks far more rounded then the lower fuse, as best as I can tell there's nothing to foul on short of using engineers Mic blue for any high spots, got a feeling I got a rogue lower wing. any help or idea's would be great. thanks Andy
desmojen
Yeah, mine was like that too. I just used superglue to glue it while pressing it down at the same time. If that makes any sense! Jen.
AnonymousAA74
Shave a little 'height' off the forward and rear bulkheads which sandwich the cockpit, and it fits like a dream as the wing can sit 'lower'. Jim
