PetrOs Posted July 7, 2008 Share Posted July 7, 2008 Hello I am toying an idea to build an Italeri Fiat C.R.42 kit as a Battle of Britain aircraft, as flown by the italians from belgian airfields in 1940. As the kit's decals does not cover the topic, I am considering to buy the Skymodels decal sheet for C.R.42, either Part one or Part two, depending on the number of BoB aircraft present.. Ill go for the number 2 then. I looked at the hannants pictures and there are plenty of 85 and 95 squadriglia's aircraft, and these were the units operating from belgium, so with a bit of luck I hope to get at least one proper aircraft. tango98 Posted July 8, 2008 Share Posted July 8, 2008 Hi Steven, FWIW, all of the intelligence material that I have on these aircraft from both the RAF and Farnborough state that the fuselage codes were grey-blue, shadowed black.
