Oliver Posted June 3, 2007 Share Posted June 3, 2007 (edited) Well this kit fought me all the way, from 'sprue worms' to dodgy decals and finally bloody vac canopy's (quite a bad short run kit clean-up wise, see my in prog thread for my trials and tribulations), but i got her finished as something that'll at least pass for a spit (i hope) plus its all brush painted, as i don't really have the funds for an airbrush, especially with all these new kits coming out! Again sorry for the poor photo's me and cameras don't get along well. A little history on this aircraft, provided by the instructions. PK656 was taken on charge on 6th December 1945, though not allocated to an active squadron till December 1948. It was allocated to 73 Squadron based at Ta Kali but was returned to Britain in October 1949 and remained in storage till it was eventually sold for scrap in 1954.
