Stéphane
Glenn, this is really an outstanding job, and I'm learning lots, being just a plastic gluer ... my only scratchbuilding skills being limited to adding fuse wire in cockpits. Truly impressive. Cheers Stef (#6)

Glenn R
Hi All, Here's the model so far:- Decals on, watercolour wash in the panel lines, some accentuated with a pencil and various odds and sods fitted. All ready for one last coat of Klear with some Tamiya flat base added to give a more satin finish. The hardest part now is how to slightly bend some plastic tubing for the exhausts, don't know how yet. Till next time. Regards, Glenn

Glenn R
Hi All, Well, at last the beast is finished:- I did this particular machine to honour and remember those that died in the crash of this aircraft near Labi, Brunei on the 4th May, 1963. I'm SOOOOOO glad it's over, this has been, for me, the model from hell. Almost eveything that could go wrong, did and many of the steps had to be done more than once. This model fought me from day one, still, it is said that if you can't take a joke, you shouldn't have joined! Regards, Glenn
AnonymousDFB1
Glenn what can I say? First off a lovely tribute. And what a great model. It has been wonderful to watch you create her from nothing other than an idea and some basic materials. You have a unique model there to be very proud of.
