We thought of The Best of British GB/SMW 2008 display theme independently, but the Best of British magazine is quite new and confirmed in my mind, at least, that it could provide an interesting basis for a model display. So if you come across any of these mags, have a gander and see if there is anything contained therein that might either provide inspiration for a build or useful references. Post your thoughts, even if you don't intend to build as somebody else may pick up the reins.

Here's some ideas from me, my memory being jogged by one of the covers - traction and showman's engines. Keil Kraft did a whole series of kits that also included trams and lorries. I even have some in the stash.
