timmah
Hi I'm currently doing a BF 109F in Tropical colours, when it comes to weathering, does anyone have a good way of giving the aircraft that bleached in the sun look? I'm currently thinking of simply doing a light thin misted coat of white over the entire top side, am I in the right direction? Thanks Tim. darson
Tim you are on the right track, but on mine I just added some flesh colour to the base coat and with a mixture of 90/10 thinners and paint and then misted that in an irregular swirling pattern concentrating on the upper surfaces. IMHO white just makes the base coat look bleached not faded. By the way are you doing the Hasegawa kit or the ICM and how about some pics?
