Today’s (April 20) Daily Telegraph Magazine has an intriguing offer in the ‘Travel Solutions’ page: A two night tour called ‘Magnificent Men in their flying machines’. I quote: “Discover the history of Shuttleworth Old Warden and Duxford aerodromes which are now operated by the Imperial War Museum’. Enjoy the pageantry of a historic air show and a short flight on a De Haviland DH 89 Dragon Rapide ...” . The italics are mine. I hadn’t heard that the Shuttleworth aerodrome is now operated by the IWM, and suspect that it isn’t I rather feel that the copywriter responsible for preparing the advert was confused Or ... does anyone have knowledge about Shuttleworth not generally known? As promised in the What's Flying Over Your House thread, here's the first lot of photos taken at this year's fly-in. These are the pics taken with the zoom lens on my DSLR. The standard lens recently broke, so I had to use my wife's awful Fuji camera to take the close-up pics, and I haven't managed to get the pics off the SD card as yet! Tiger Moths first! Cheers, Mark.

Enjoyed a trip to Shuttleworth this weekend. Journey from hell as the A1 was closed for roadworks but saw some nice countryside!
