Following a discussion on another board about the main wheels on the Sukhoi Flanker, I've put together a page of photos I have taken over the years showing the differences.... The first generation with a central cooling hole looks like this...... The second generation with multiple holes and 3 sets of retaining bolts looks like this..... The very latest third generation wheels with 4 sets of bolts look like this.... Note that the labels First Second and Third generation are purely my invention to differentiate the 3 types. More photos of each type here - (scroll down past the fins). Happy Flankering and Happy New Year Ken

As the title suggests, what's the best kit to start from amongst Roden's range of B/C/D kits to convert it to a Fennec, which I understand was an A, but with a more powerful engine and some airframe changes? Then, once the kit is settled upon, what differences will I need implement from a modeller's POV between the base kit and the Fennec spec.? I saw a pair of them recently on the flight-line, and the sand camo one looked proper aggressive sat there. I fell in love with the horrible clattering engine note too All info gratefully received and will save me from making mistakes from the outset

I have the Kinetic kit and want to do a camo German version. Kit does an A and had the bits. Can anyone advise on features of German over French machines? For instance are the seats the same? Cheers Sean
