Wanted to maximize the AGM-78 load on the Trumpeter F-105G and a Wild Weasel Phantom I have and when comparing AGM-78s between the ones in the F-105G box and the ones from the Hasegawa weapons set, the China made ones seem to be at least 20% smaller in every dimension. Were there different versions of the Standard Arm? Or did trumpy manage to screw up again?

Hi guys, I will build the Trumpeter 1/48 Messerschmitt Me-509. It will be build mostly out of the box I think. I might give it a twist to make it as a night fighter. I will have a look later and I will also place some Pictures in the next few days. I just found out that I have got a set of resin exhausts, metal gunbarrels for the mg131 and also some bombs etc to make it into a fighter-bomber. hmmmm decisions to be made. Cheers,

Hi folk's,well it all started when we decorated the bedroom and chucked all the twenty odd year old pine furniture out, stuck to the bottom of the wardrobe was a decal sheet from an old Revell wildcal/Martlet.I was about to throw it away then thought no I may get a kit one day and use it,move forward a few month's and I found myself in a 1/32 mood for a couple of GB's and when I saw a Radial engine GB decided to go with it,Mike at MJW was contacted and within a week had ordered and dispatched Trumpeter's kit to me at less than my LMS could do it and that included the postage price!Trumpeter's kit got more flak than the real aircraft over the Japanese fleet when first released but was re-worked into a much better offering for this release, there are differences between the kit and a true Martlet which I have noted and will try to deal with but I'm no rivet counter so won't loose sleep,I'll be painting the I.D. stripes on her as well, here's the large box. Decal sheet. And lovely kit content's.

Link to the work in progress thread: http://www.britmodeller.com/forums/index.php?/topic/234987078-1700-battlecruiser-pyotr-velikiy/page-1 History. The ships of the Kirov class were built between 1977 and 1998 for the Soviet, and later Russian navy and are officially designated as 'heavy nuclear-powered guided missile cruisers'. They remain the largest surface combatants afloat with a displacement of between 24000 and 28000 tons. Armament consists of a variety of anti-ship and cruise missiles, torpedoes, a twin 5 inch gun, Kashtan CIWS and anti-submarine launchers; three helicopters are carried. Currently only Pyotr Velikiy is in active service, while Admiral Nakhimov is undergoing refit; the other two ships of the class remain in reserve while possible reactivation is assessed. Plans for a fifth Kirov class vessel were cancelled in 1990. The kit. The model is built from Trumpeter's 1/700 Pyotr Velikiy, and the photo-etch is by White Ensign Models. The kit comes with options for either full-hull or waterline versions, and a KA-27 helicopter is included. And here are a few size comparison shots with Dragon's 1/700 HMS Sheffield alongside. Thank you for looking in, and as always questions/comments are most welcome. Regards, Ross.
