  1. Triple Ejection Racks 1:32 Eduard/Brassin (632-103) – Triple Ejector Racks or TER for short, are used in conjunction with a pylon and enable aircraft to carry multiple GP bombs such as Mk81/ Mk82, cluster bombs, LGB and others. It is also capable of carrying and firing rocket launchers such as LAU-68, LAU-131 and flare launchers such as SUU-25. Maximum load capacity for a TER it is 3000 lbs. TER uses three ejector release units (ERUs) which hold and enable release of stores. The ERUs are located in two groups of three : one aft and one forward, symmetrically arranged about the centerline and at 45 degrees at either side Each ERU holds the store by means of two suspension hooks placed at 14 in (std NATO) and also by a pair of sway brace pads which provide steady captive flight. Each ERU uses one or more impulse cartridges which enable safe separation of stores. The five TER’s come in the standard Brassin cardboard box, well protected by foam pads inside. They are really well detailed, as we have come to expect from Eduard and certainly have more finesse than injection moulded items. Before assembly each TER will need to have certain holes drilled out with a 0.4mm drill. Each TER is assembled with the addition of the two suspension hooks, check references for where they are fitted on the rail, three ejector racks and six crutch pads. The modeller has to supply the 0.4mm wire to attach between the ejector racks and the TER main body. There is a small etched disc glued to the rear of the TER to complete the assembly. Conclusion Eduard/Brassin keep churning out these products every month, but with no loss of detail. These items will look great fitted to which ever large scale fighter/bomber you are building. 2. TER - Triple Ejector Racks 1:72 Eduard Brassin TER (672120) The TER or Triple Ejector Rack is exactly as it says. A pylon adaptor to enable the carriage of three weapons on the same pylon. This set from Eduard in their brassin range contains 5 resin racks with photo-etched details. Conclusion These racks will add some great detail to any model which needs to carry them. Highly Recommended. Review sample courtesy of
  3. Triple Ejector Racks (TER) 1:48 Eduard Brassin While modellers often buy additional weapons for their kits they hang them off the kit supplied racks. Eduard have now seen this and are supplying racks to hang their ordnance from. These TERs (Triple ejection racks) from Eduard in their brassin range certainly are detailed, they include mounting brackets and the sway braces for the attached weapons. Also included is a small decal sheet with markings for the TERs. Recommended for those wanting a little extra with their weapons racks. Review sample courtesy of
  4. US Navy Bomb Racks Aerobonus 1:48 Just arrived here at BM Towers are these two set of bomb racks for use on many US Navy aircraft. Each poly sleeve packet has two racks moulded onto sturdy casting blocks. They also come with crutch plates for the bombs and separate sway braces for the pylon/rack attachment. Triple Ejector Rack (480 056) has, as it states, two triple ejector racks which have been superbly moulded and with the thin web connecting them to the casting blocks on the top edge, they shouldn’t need too much cleaning up before use. Each of the three ERU’s are fitted with two crutch plates or sway braces for the bombs to attach to. The TERs do not have sway braces for their attachment to the pylon which is a bit of a shame and the modeller will have to add three small lengths of wire as indicated in the instructions. Multiple Ejector Racks (480 057) are basically two Triple Ejector Racks joined by a beam which is in turn attached to the pylon. These two are also really well detailed right down to the internals for the ERUs. The connection to the casting block is still nice a thin and really shouldn’t take long to remove and clean up. As with the TERs each unit ERU receives two crutch plates but the set also includes the sway braces for the MER/Pylon attachment. These sway braces are very thin and will need some care to remove from the casting block. Six small lengths of wire which represents the electrical cables need to be provided by the modeller. Conclusion These really are super detailed units and will look superb on any Navy aircraft that used them. Whether or not they are fitted with bombs they will enhance the detail on the completed model. Highly recommended. Review samples courtesy of distributed in the UK by Hannants Ltd.
