Since we have an extra two weeks I thought I'd try and get one last build in. This is the Modelsvit 1/72 Mirage 2000C which I'll finish in a Tigermeet scheme using Syhart decals. In the interests of time the build will be OOB. Here's the box shot and the special scheme: I've started with some minor assembly and priming of parts - no photos to share yet. more soon Julian

I've been looking forward to this GB all year and now it's nearly upon us I can't wait to get started. I've got heaps of ideas for builds, but as I've got to get the Canadian GB finished (once that's done, all my modelling will be in this GB until it finishes) I'll start with something fairly straightforward - a French Mirage F1C in a Tiger Meet scheme, using the Special Hobby 1/72 kit and Syhart decals. I'll post a photo of the kit later, here's the scheme: cheers Julian

Here's my Special Hobby 1/72 Mirage F.1C built as the 1994 Tiger Meet aircraft of EC 1/12 using Syhart Decals. Nice little kit, and the decals were very nice to work with. thanks for looking Julian

I spontaneously started another kit yesterday night.... French Airforce Rafale B 1/91 Gascogne Opération Harmattan DMold seamless, full length intakes Wolfpack-d upgrade to series production standards Decals: either Syhart or Authentic Decals (or a combination ) more than enough decals I guess, have to find out which squadrons where used back in 2011 over Libya... probably Scalp mission, or Hammer AASM... quick fit of the excellent kit: (my son needed something to play with ) Scalps mounted, they look great! one of the weak point of this kit are the intakes, that are simply open at the back.... but there is an expensive, but likely well worth solution by DMold : some surgery needed: fit is excellent then! more soon hopefully! any input eagerly awaited! best regards, Werner

Special paint Mirage 2000C fpr the disbandment of EC 1/12 Cambresis from Cambrai Airbase in north-eastern France in 2012 Syhart needed a bit to release the appropriate decals for these wonderful scheme, but they are available now! so here my in-flight model, with quite some aftermarket put to hopefully good use for the in progress build, see here: http://www.britmodeller.com/forums/index.php?/topic/234961913-mirage-2000c-heller-last-flight-ec-112-cambresis-148-decals/ edit: maybe some tiny bit of photoshop!

Hello, this is my last topic for today, the black Tonka from Italy. I used the Revell Kit to creat this nice Aircraft. The decals are from Syhart. It was not the easiest to apply them to the Kit and I am not a 100% happy with the result. Another task was to paint it extremely black, almost like dust on it, but I think it looks good enough. And again here are some pics:
