Evening all, I hope you are keeping well. 2022 is racing by and keeping me on my toes - I'm not getting much time for modelling at the moment and decided my next one should be relatively straightforward so I've got half a chance of finishing it before Christmas! I built a Stuka when I was growing up and always liked how it looked, especially with the gull wings, so without too much thought got the relatively new airfix version in the one true scale: I've been plugging a way for a few weeks and pretty much got her together now: The cockpit was painted in rlm02 and weathered before being assembled into the fuselage. I'm going to include the pilots so not a huge amount will be visible so on this occasion everything is ootb. The kit goes together pretty well though the nose assembly is a bit weird and took some careful dry fitting before I was happy to get glue on. Fit is good and I've tidied up the seams with sprue goo (much easier than the revel blackbird I finished recently!) before adding rivets along the panel lines to add a bit more detail. I glued the wheels together this evening and they are dry fitted atm. The next step is to mottle on some light grey for the preshade, paint up the crew and finish masking up the canopy, inside and out! Thanks for dropping by, more to come soon hopefully, Sam

Greetings Frog Fans! Here is the first of my three entries to the GB. Its the Kannone Vogel Stuka, which has long been a favourite of mine. I will try and add some basic details to the interior as i go along but it will mostly be OOTB as i have triple booked myself with GBs this year: Tiger GB; D-Day GB, and this one! Its going to be a busy old time, but hopefully an enjoyable one....pics Tanks for looking, cheers Greg

I'm in the middle of building the new-tool 1/48 Ju-87B from Airfix, and noticed from reference pics (all B+W) that that the piping and some accessories appeared not to be in the tones listed in the instructions. On comparing with builds and instructions for the Airfix 1/24 Stuka a different set of colours is specified. Which one is likely to be more accurate?
