  1. A new range of short run resin kits released under the Race-Craft Brand by Coastal Craft. The first two kits released are a 1/20th Cooper T51's Kit 1 depicts the Works entry of Jack Brabham at the 1959 Monaco GP, his first Grand Prix victory. Kit 2 depicts the British Racing Partnership entry for Chris Bristow at the 1960 Monaco GP. The kits are a much improved version of a kit that was available for a short time some years ago. The wheels & tyres have been completely re-mastered by John Shinton and the kit is now produced in various quality resins. The first two kits were released at SMW, and we now have the kits available on line and at shows from both Coastal Craft ( www.coastalcraftmodelsuk.com and www.modellingtools.co.uk). 1/20th Cooper T51 Jack Brabham 1959 Monaco GP Winner https://www.modellingtools.co.uk/race-craft-models-120th-cooper-t51---jack-brabham-monaco-gp-1959-32094-p.asp Kit 1959 T51c Kit parts 1/20th Cooper T51 Chris Bristow  1960 Monaco GP 1960 kit parts The kits feature several different resins for the parts. 2. Our offers this month are the wonderful Modelcraft pick and place tools. These are a pen size tool with a blob on the end that will allow you to pick up small parts and put them in place. When the blob gets clogged with dust, just wash it under the tap and it's sticky again. There are three sizes, fine, medium and large. The list price is £5.75 per tool, our normal price is £5.00, this month they are only £3.50 each. We also have a limited number of bundles of all three tools for only £10. Links to the tools: Pick & Place Small Pick & Place Medium Pick & Place Large Pick & Place Full SET Thanks, Paul
  3. Dear all, I'd been thinking about buying some leaf punches over the course of several months and had been searching the web looking at various products. On Sunday, I finally plumped for a set of RP Toolz Leaf Punches. The following evening I searched stockists. Amazon were promoting a company that offered the 4 punches individually, at a price of around 50 quid inc P&P. Other companies offered the four, also individually, for slightly less, or the same. But then I came across Modellingtools and realised that this was the same Modelingtools that advertises here on BM. Clicking on their site I was pleased to find that Modellingtools offered the set of 4 for just 36 quid inc P&P. So you can guess which stockist I went for. My wife happens to have a PAYPAL account for her art supplies and for selling her art and I - a luddite when it comes to electronic money - asked her to purchase the punches for me. She put in the order Monday evening, and my punches arrived via snail mail early this afternoon. (Wednesday) So well done Modellingtools on extremely your extremely prompt service and your competitive prices! I will definitely recommend you to all other model-makers! Rearguards, Badder

  5. Hi, We have less than a week left on our very first Monthly Promotion. It's been very popular and we have cleared out two suppliers of their stocks ! So if you'd like either (or both) of the Xuron Cutters at a great price, be quick before they sell out, the offer finishes at the end of the month ! There will be two new offers starting the 1st October. Again two superb items at giveaway prices. We are emailing the monthly offers and new to people on our mailing list, so if you'd like to receive the newsletter, please email us on [email protected] Thanks, Paul
  6. We are now stocking all the tools from the RP-Toolz range. Scale leaf punches, etch bending tools, quite a few different punch sets, handle benders, etch rollers.......etc. Some great value for money, some wonderfully thought through and not available from other manufacturers. See them on our stand at shows, or buy online. RP Toolz available from modellingtools.co.uk Thanks, Paul
  7. Have just added another new product onto the website. little nippers are small 2"/5cm long spring loaded clamps. They have enough grip to keep themselves in position and apply force, but not enough that they squash the parts like clothes pegs can. We are selling them in a pack of 6 for £1.50 and should also have them on our little-lenses rack at shows.
