OK starting point for this in the SEA section no wingy things hear just targets Revell 1/144 scale LSM including cargo will be doing out of the box project yes I will honestly The LSM class of ship where used to deploy a varied amount of amour troops and supplies to the US Marines and Army during the island hopping push against Japan I will be building this in the 3 tone camo and if I have time and can find some figures will put it into a dio trying to copy that of the box art Don't worry the diorama will not be on the same scale as this beefy

Hi all and this is my latest finish, the 1/144 OzMods conversion of the E-2 Hawkeye into a C-2A Greyhound. While 1/72 is normally my scale, I've always had a soft spot for this one. The full build is here but to recap: Kit: Heller Hawkeye (donor kit) and OzMods C-2A conversion set Scale: 1/144 Paints: White from a Rattlecan, all others with a brush. Future, FloryModels wash, W&N Matt Varnish (also brush) Extras: None Decals: From the conversion set, for VRC-30 'Providers' Really enjoyed this one and here's to all those who fly transport and haul stuff for a living... Thanks for looking. Dermot

Hi everyone, While 1/72 is normally my default scale, I've built the odd 1/144 kit. And being a fan of naval aviation, I've always had a big soft spot for the Grumman C-2 Greyhound - they do all the unglamorous but essential hauling to and from carriers - whether that's spare parts, passengers or parcels from home. At some point I'll either save up enough for the RHVP resin kit or Kinetic will downsize their 1/48 beasty so for now I'm going with this conversion from OzMods in 1/144 using a Heller E-2C Hawkeye as the donor kit.
