The WiP is here... Joyful sounds eminate from my bench...hallelujahs rain down like so many heavenly choirs...Eduard has released their DVII is the Gentleman's Scale, 1/72nd, and it is everything one would hope for from Eduard: fine moulding, parts that actually fit, superb decals...easy to use instructions and a fine assortment of livery to choose. Plus, enough plastic bit left over that one can easily assume we will be seeing DVII released from Eduard for at least the next year, maybe two years. We cross our fingers. The only thing I can say about this kit that I will not be repeating is the lozenge camo on the wings. Don't get me wrong! It is lovely, accurate and easy to use, but the separate rib tapes are a bother and take too long and gave me a sore neck. On my next build from this kit I will use some of my Aviatik lozenge. So here it is... And looking good with the gang...Those are both Roden and MAC DVII builds... --Many thanks! John

I'm researching two Albatros-built Fokker DVII's (von Buren and Degalow) and trying to work out the lozenge fabric application on the wings. I have discovered from reading many, many pages of searched text that Fokker DVIIs were made by Fokker, OAW and Albatros, and that each manufacturer had a different way of applying the lozenge fabric to the DVII. However, I can't find anywhere exactly what these differences were. Can anyone outline what these differences were please? If so, I would be very grateful. In the meantime, I'm going to find someone who can replace hair. (!) Thanks PR
