Hello all, Here is my second entry for this GB. Hobbyboss 1/48 F-14A in IRIAF colours. The kit: My first dive into the Hobbyboss 'cat so I'm looking forward to see how it compares to my old favourite- The Hasegawa F-14! Decals: Using Hi-decal Line sheet 48-021. I'll also be adding quickboost seats and FOD inserts. Serial 160318/ 3-6020 was the 20th F-14 supplied to Iran and was credited with 14 kills during the Iran-Iraq war. The jet was also involved in Iran's 'Bombcat' trials in 1986. The jet was then overhauled in Iran in the late 1990's and is still flying today in the standard two tone camouflage. 3-6020 References will be in the form of the internet, several magazine articles and the Osprey 'Iranian F-14 Tomcat units in combat' book. Unsure as to wether i'll go for the new 2 tone paint scheme or the old 3 tone one. Dave -
Hello all, Here is my second entry. 1/48 Revell F-15E converted to a Royal Saudi Air Force F-15S. The kit: Aftermarket: I will be using the Wolfpack Designs F-15S conversion set, Two Bobs decals and Pavla seats. Contents of the Wolfpack set: Reference: I read in The Times newspaper on Friday that Saudi jets have, reportedly, been attacking terrorist camps in Yemen, presumably with the F-15S. I may try and find what loads they used for such missions. If I can't find anything, I'll load it up with 4x GBU-10's on the CFT's, something else along the centre, 2x fuel tanks and 4x AIM-9's. Dave

Hello all, Here is my second entry for this GB. Hasegawa's 1/48 F/A-18E in the markings of VFA-31 'Tomcatters' The kit: The aftermarket: Will be using Wolfpack Designs cockpit set, Afterburner decals and Steel Beach ECS pipes. The jet itself 166776 Will be using ordnance from the spares and plan to load it up in a CAS configuration as this jet saw combat over Afghanistan in 2009. Dave
