This is my repainted gundam universal unit Zaku. Just a quick repaint of gashapon kit. There are some nice details on this little kit. And unlike a lot of other Gundam he can hold his gun up. And next to a 1/100 Gera Doga for size.

Good evening, I'd like to present you my latest paper Model, the "Zenit". It's a rather small ship in 1/250, the whole kit is printed on two A4-sheets. More infos about the ship can be found on the website of the manufacturer, HMV. Building was straightforward, just the two hull sides are a bit too short, and had to be lenghten by ca. 1.5mm. Otherwise it was fun to build, there is even a interior (bridge, desks, PC...). Railing is done with cotton thread, stiffened with highly diluted PVA glue. No Lasercut or etched part used for this kit. Thanks fpr watching! Alex

Welcome all to my first build thread! This is my efforts to try and document my build of the HMV Nordic in 1/250. There are a lot of excellent shots of the sheets and completed model here: http://h-m-v.de/nordic.0.html?&L=1 I've acquired the laser-cut parts set too meaning there are about 1700 parts to cut out and prep for the build! I'm going to need lots of scalpel blades. I appreciate it is not the usual the usual plastic medium, this project has come around due to me needing something simple to transport as I'm working away from home for the next few months and can't carry many tools, paints etc around. Phone pictures I'm afraid but I'm trying my best to keep them up to scratch! First build stage complete. The first few stages are to produce the below waterline section of the boat. My plan is to place it in a harbour setting on some plastruct water sheet and as such I'm using this part as a learning exercise for techniques and glues. This is the end of the second stage of construction. Cross ribs to come next. I shall endeavor to post at least a photo for each stage. Once the detail starts there should be a little more interest! Do let me know if a paper build is of interest! Once we settle back home I'll try my best to get more of my styrene builds up in threads as well All thoughts and tips greatly appreciated, criticisms even more so! Pete
