Hi guys, I am a bit late to start this one. I bought the kit when it came out in 2000 (I think), having been persuaded by a chap in the Colindale Hannants who was raving about it. It followed me to several RAF bases until 2005 when we decided to go civvy, spent a year in Bournemouth, 4 years at Prestwick then finally settled down in Hampshire. After all this time (and miles) I think it needs building! I am planning to build it out of the box in the same scheme as @theplasticsurgeon (but probably to a lower standard). I had planned to experiment with different metal tones, but due to my over-ambition with this year's group builds, I don't really have the time to play. Still, I am looking forward to this. Dave

Ok, I have absolutely no willpower and have decided to start on this even though I have a ridiculous amount on the go already. The obligatory box shot is below, and I will be building it straight from the box. This is the later "black box" release (from Revell I believe), and it occurs to me that all of my GB builds this year have been reissues (China, Revell etc.); not one has been a classic release. The shame.....

Hi Guys, Following on from the 70's NATO GB, I am in with this old girl. Taking inspiration from Old Thumper I am hitting the Matchbox kits from my stash and, I must say, having blast! Other than the etched brass I will be building the kit straight from the box with Modeldecal decals to finish. I won't be able to start until the weekend though; I am on a training course at the moment and the workload is bonkers! Dave
