  1. Now i have two helicopter. This are AH-1S from Hasegawa in 1/72. i had very long wait for it bevor i could buy it. But now – here they are. The painting are no phantasy. You could see them like that in 2011-2013 (if i'm not mistaken) at the Airfieldbase Kisarazu. The signposts were like that by the helicopters. Hasegawa added a verry big Decalsheet with a lot decals. But now see....
  2. #1/2021 My dad finished his first model in the new year already. Hasegawa kit, part of the decals from the sparesbox, Eduard seatbelts, EZ line for antenna wire, plastic rods and lead wire for the brake lines, plasic rods for the landing gear indicators on the upper wings. Painted with MRP RLM82/83/76. Build thread here https://www.britmodeller.com/forums/index.php?/topic/235083582-austrian-aces148-focke-wulf-fw190a-5-hauptmann-walter-nowotny-co-ijg54/ JG54 Eastern Front October 1943 DSC_0001 by grimreaper110, auf Flickr DSC_0002 by grimreaper110, auf Flickr DSC_0003 by grimreaper110, auf Flickr DSC_0004 by grimreaper110, auf Flickr DSC_0005 by grimreaper110, auf Flickr DSC_0006 by grimreaper110, auf Flickr DSC_0007 by grimreaper110, auf Flickr DSC_0008 by grimreaper110, auf Flickr DSC_0009 by grimreaper110, auf Flickr DSC_0010 by grimreaper110, auf Flickr DSC_0011 by grimreaper110, auf Flickr DSC_0012 by grimreaper110, auf Flickr DSC_0013 by grimreaper110, auf Flickr DSC_0014 by grimreaper110, auf Flickr DSC_0015 by grimreaper110, auf Flickr DSC_0016 by grimreaper110, auf Flickr DSC_0017 by grimreaper110, auf Flickr DSC_0018 by grimreaper110, auf Flickr DSC_0019 by grimreaper110, auf Flickr DSC_0020 by grimreaper110, auf Flickr DSC_0001 by grimreaper110, auf Flickr
  3. I have developed an interest in the aircraft operated by USAF Air Defense Command and Aerospace Defense Command over the time period 1946 -1980 favouring the later years. The plan is to build a representative model of a number of types operated during this period. I have already completed a Lockheed F-94 Starfire, for the Lockheed GB. I am being ambitious for this GB with three builds planned. The first is the Hasegawa’s 1/72 North American F-86D Sabre Dog. I am also planning a Meng F-102A and Meng F-106A, again both in 1/72.
  4. Hello, First build complete in 2021. In fact, the very last of 2020. It's the Hasegawa kit, a good ol' boy, with no real difficulty. The plane is from the GC II/18 Saintonge, of the french air force, seen late 1945 in France. AK real colors acryl for the top Dark Green and Ocena grey, Tamiya for the underside Medium Sea Grey. And Carpena decals, from a Tamiya limited run of the Mk.V, for french market only. these were awful, as stiff as cardboard, almost not reacting to DACO strong ! 🤨 Here are the piccies. As usual, crits and comments welcome. Best Stef (#6)
  5. My dad´s next project. Initially he wanted to do one of the Jabos from SG1 with the Mickey Mouse emblem, using a Hasegawa kit and decals from the classic ProModeler Fw190G-2/G-3 kit. But then he realized he already built a similar SG 1 plane. Don´t know yet which scheme to do. DSC_0003 by grimreaper110, auf Flickr fw190g2bg_1 by grimreaper110, auf Flickr
  6. Can I play with this one please.
  7. Another place holder. Not quite as sad looking as my F-102 but again I decided to do a replacement. More anaon! Pete
  8. Hi, I'd like to participate with a 1/48 Hasegawa Spitfire Mk Vb, built as Neville Duke's ER821. Cheers, Stefan.
  9. I originally started this build way back when in the Nordic GB, in a time before lockdown! Original thread here. One of three unfinished GBs this year I'm hoping to get finished (alongside the ongoing ones and Interceptor GB I want to start!) I've slowly been making progress mistakes since, and here are a few pics, it's been a bit of a pig getting together. Underside all built up - I did unfortunately snap one of the suspension components (anti-roll bar?). Interior is mainly built up. The kit came with some (very thin) plastic material to use for the seatbelts but I just couldn't get along with it (kept tearing whilst cutting with a knife) and was somewhat translucent when I finally managed to get a strip. The aftermarket kit came with some ribbon but I couldn't get along with that either (and it was too short to match up to the guide sizes in the instructions). In the end I made up some belts out of my staple - a bit of kitchen tin foil, lined each side with masking tape, sliced to size and painted up (white primer over the yellow tape, then a coat of red). The nice thing about the foil method is when bent it does tend to hold it's shape. The kit supplied PE was a bit thin, but I had an aftermarket kit so used those parts instead (original buckles getting a second life in my Renault 5 build), unfortunately when looking back at the zoomed in photos I can see some of my trimming on the buckle ends could have been better! The aftermarket PE also didn't neatly fit onto the mounting points on the belt ends on the roll cage so they're slightly offset. The upper shell also decided to be a complete pain. The forming moulds seemed to have been slightly misaligned leaving some rather nasty seam lines along the bonnet which I cleaned up, however I'm worried the bits around the light fittings might give me some grief later on. They obviously reused the moulds from another version of the kit and blanked out the bonnet vents but left some raise lines around where they were. I smoothed it out but it was still kind of visible when the the undercoat then white coats went on but hopefully less noticeable in the decals are added. My other woes were compounded by me trying to take a 'shortcut' and use a rattle can for the blue and going a bit heavy. I've sanded off the worst of the lumpy bits and will need to give it another coat - though planning on doing that with the airbrush this time! The bleeds aren't too much of an issue - I need to mask up and paint the black roof rails / window surrounds and there's some multi-coloured diagonal strip decals that cover across the door lines. I just hope they line up well! I also noticed (after painting) that the wing mirrors have some rather nasty injection pin marks in them, I'm never sure why but I seem to find this a common issue with car kits which I really can't understand! Anyhow let's hope the rest of the build goes a bit better!
  10. Dear fellow Britmodellers, this is my 1/72 Hasegawa SdKfz 234/1 "Puma", built with addition of PART photo-etch. Painted with Gunze/Mr Hobby acrylics. Photographs by Wolfgang Rabel. The Hasegawa kit is pretty nice and has good detail, with the exception of the turret roof parts - these were replaced by photo-etch items by PART. I added antenna (from 0.2mm wire) and straps for the missing jerry can on the aft left fender. I weathered the hull with artist oils and pastel chalks. Thank you for your interest in this topic. Best greetings from Vienna, Roman
  11. Kit : F-18B Brand : Hasegawa Scale : 1/72 Decals : Home Made Decals This is my F-18B Hasegawa 1/72. The kit was released in 1991, so I'm not sure if that is classed as old, but the decals did look old and yellow, I fixed the yellowing, but they were all cracked. So, I went with plan 'B' Irish Air Corps. I had already printed the low vis Irish roundels a couple of years ago. I just had to find some numbers and I used some of the smaller kit decals. Ken
  12. This is just a place holder but as they say - here's one I built earlier. I decided to replace both this and the F-106 I built at the same time. More in a day or so. Cheers Pete
  13. #27/2020 Newest model by my dad. Hasegawa kit, decals from the kit, Kagero and AML, EZ Line for the antenna wire, shortened the too long legs some mm to receive a more realistic look,, plastic rods and lead wire for the brake lines, Eduard seatbelts, painted with MRP RLM 76/75/81/83. Kagero Topcolors #9 and JaPo Messerschmitt 109 of JG52 in Deutsch Brod used as reference. Build thread here https://www.britmodeller.com/forums/index.php?/topic/235082275-end-of-war148-messerschmitt-bf109k-4-iiijg52/ Aircraft flown by Hauptmann Adolf Borchers, III./JG52, Deutsch Brod/Czechoslovakia in May 1945. 14. Two classic Hasegawa Phantoms, both are built with the help of Eduard colour PE in the cockpits, some wiring on the backseater's IP and a bit of scratch-built sidewall detail. The F-4E has the kit ejection seats with PE seatbelts added. The F-4EJ sees a couple of Verlinden resin seats; further modifications towards a proper Kai were included in the box (correct fin cap, dragchute housing, wingtip fairings and spine antenna). I also reworked the pilot's IP coaming a bit to better show the difference in shape vs the conventional F-4E. For the F-4E, I used Bare Metal/Expert's Choice decals to build an aircraft from the 57th FIS USAF "Black Knights", stationed at Keflavik AB (Iceland) in the '80s. Stencils and panel numbers are taken from an Isradecal sheet. I used Xtracolor enamel ADC Grey to finish this one. The JASDF markings for the 8th Hikotai F-4EJ Kai at Misawa AB (Japan) are from the excellent - and exhaustive - DXM sheet, with this particular aircraft being the winner of the 2003 ACM contest. I started using Tamiya/Gunze acrylics this year, for the first time on this aircraft, mixing the two blues until I got the finish that I was looking for. The ASM-2 missiles can be found in one of the Hasegawa weapons set. Thanks for stopping by, hope you enjoy the pics! All the best, Patrick
  15. Hello everyone! Just finished the "good old" Hasegawa Bf109 G-4 1/32 in ProModeler (Monogram) boxing, released in the early 2000s. Overall still a great kit, built with some add ons like MDC trop filter, brass pitot tube, Uschi (Rig That Thing) elastic thread for the antenna, PE seatbelts and small plastic/metal bits to improve the appearance of this well known Gustav. Painted with Model Master enamels (RLM 78/79/80), clear coated with acrylic Mr. Color matt and gloss varnishes. Decals from the box. National emblems, A/C number and tactical markings masked and sprayed accordingly. Thanks for watching! Oscar
  16. Hi This is my latest finished MV-22,hasegawa kit.

  18. Another quick and easy build in between bigger projects was this Hasegawa 737. Despite their older airliners,Hasegawa went here a slightly different way. The fuselage halves are split horizontaly and there are no windows and no detail on the fuselage as well. Here they offer also a wheels up otion, wich I find nice. All details are on the excellent decal sheet, thats when this model comes to life. Luckily Hasegawa went back to the roots with their newer airliner kits, wich have nice recessed panellines and are also more detailed. The 737-400 and also the MD-81/87 they released are nice but more in the way of desktop models. A good introduction into the modelling world for newbees or a nice destraction from bigger projects, one gets a pleasant result in a short time. Cheers
  19. My entry for this groupbuild will be Hasegawa's MV-22B Osprey. I have been fascinated by this aircraft since I first saw one, especially the way it folds its wings/rotors for storage. So ambitiously I am going to try and build it in the folder configuration. Haven't been able to find a kit that offers this, barr some 1/350 offerings. Also haven't managed to find a builr example on the inlet. My googling however suggest that the Hasegawa kit might be the best option to start with. To help I have purchased some resin to help the build.
  20. The Hasegawa kit is fantastic, fitted together very well with no filler required, just a bit of sanding. I used the Eduard etched cockpit detail, otherwise it's oob. Paints were all Tamiya spray cans; AS-13, AS-14 and AS-27. Thanks to @Mark V for the Spang F-4 info! I still need to add the ECM pod in the left Sparrow recess. All comments and suggestions welcome ...
  21. Polish model distributor is going to rebox Hasegawa Hawker Hurricane with decals made by Techmod. Price in Polish shops is going to be around 56 pln, so around 11 pounds.
  22. Hobby 2000 from Poland is to rebox the Hasegawa (vintage! 1993...) 1/72nd Morane MS.406 kit under ref. 72031 Sources: http://ksmodel.pl/sklep/szczegoly/hobby-2000-72031-morane-saulnier-ms-406-1939-1940-limited-edition-1-72-22410/ https://www.hannants.co.uk/product/H2K72031 V.P.
  23. Kit - 1:72 Revell (Hasegawa re-box). Paint - All acrylics, Tamiya & Lifecolour. Decals - Kit. Extras - None. Heinkel He 111H-6 5 / KG 4 'General Wever' Russian Northern Front Spring / Summer 1942 Revell's re-box of the (1:72) Hasegawa He111 finished in Tamiya & Lifecolour acrylics. Certainly not my best work, but as a cheap - very cheap, (14.00 euros at a toy-shop in Germany four years ago), a cheap painting experiment it hasn't come-out too bad. No extras at all unless you count the Montex kit-specific paint masks, even the decals are what came in the box. As ever, comments, criticism and questions very welcome. All the best from New Zealand. Ian.
  24. Hello, I haven`t done a build recently, so decided to join with the Revell boxing of the Hasegawa Mk9 Spitfire in /48th scale using a Brengun resin and etch conversion of a MkVII along with the DK decals. I haven`t decided on a scheme yet but have always liked the medium sea grey and PRU blue scheme for high altitude operations. So will undoubtedly go with one of those. Either MD120 "Spirit of Kent" or coded "PB". Thanks for looking... Grahame
  25. After my dad has finished his second racecar model in a row after a 25 years hiatus (gonna post the Honda later this day) he already found his third racing project. DSC_0004 by grimreaper110, auf Flickr
