  1. No, this is NF(T)14 fit. Radar out, Rebecca scope and controller in!
  2. It's probably a bit far along for me to do that! As for ref material, ours was one of the NF's visited by Julien a number of years ago for the walkround section of this forum. Both cockpits have been brought up to very nearly complete spec since then,so I'll have to send him the updated interior shots!
  3. Certainly would! And indeed am doing exactly that right now! Knowing the full size jet pretty well I have to say, this kit is a very impressive effort...
  4. To do a T you'll have to change the majority of the rear cockpit equipment fit, add Rebecca aerials, not fit the 3 small electronics cooling intake scoops or rad alt aerials, use the long DV window option from the kit (the short DV window is the one to use for most NF.14 builds, only the T and some late service NF's with 60 out in the Far East seem to have had the long DV mod), and enjoy masking! Nothing really taxing to a half decent kit fettler...
  5. Gazza, the jump seat (or the imaginatively named 6th seat as it was better known!) is just the same as the 3 rear crew seats. It lives on a track between and behind the 2 pilots' seats, Just looking through my pics for you. Firstly, the entrance step someone mentioned: Main IP's Rear IP's As to the seats, I appear to have studiously avoided getting them in my shots it seems! Back of the 6th seat, taken during a taxy run so not the best pic If you like, there is a rear crew seat in the garage I can photograph for you.
  6. Our F.8 is camo over LAG. How accurate that is, given it is her paint from her time on the gate at Finningley, is anyone's guess! I'll be building my F8 as this jet though.
  7. Possibly a difference between Gloster and Armstrong Whitworth built F.8's? (yes AW did build 8's, as well as the NF series...)
  8. I used the Barracuda resin intakes recently to convert a Tamiya Meteor into an NF14. They are a rather lovely thing.
  9. Further to what Steve said about ghost access hatches, there is also a duplicate of the back hatch on the starboard side of the kit that is not there in real life. On the real jet there is only one back hatch into what used to be the ECM bay, on the port side. I spent 6 years working on XL231 at Elvington before moving on to another restoration project there, so if you need any reference pics just shout.
