Hello graham, I have just taken mine out of some Acetone, nice and clean now, Oven cleaner, or even nail polish remover would work to get shut of the wax residue, I have found that a soak in Hot/Warm water before removing parts from the sprues makes it easier, stops the brittleness. Great news, the Lion Aft superstructure arrived today along with the Lion detail set, Here is a quick view, I will be putting it and the detail set into soak tomorrow, this is to remove a little wax residue, when the sides are squeezed together there is no gap midships, it fits just right. The masts that come with the aft superstructure fit very well, and wlii look fine when painted and shaded and highlighted., I have reworked a WEM 1/700 J/K/N PE mast, which in my opinion looks ok.
