Although a well known subject over may years,always in every publication with the red Höllehund untill recently in this blogspot http://theprofilepaintshop.blogspot.se/ It "is" black outlined in red. Anyone has a copy of the crash report made at the time? An old aricle in SAM of Sept.1979 on this crash,describes in brief an eyewitness account of a W.S.Walton of Surrey who performed some measuring and colour matching at the time,anyone has a copy of his notes,just wonder what is says about the crest?   8. A photo exists of Beeck's 109 at the aircraftdump in Elham,showing a hole were the emblem use to be.I wonder if it is still survives somewere today. It would have all the answers.

  12. What was in the RAF crash report about the yellow(s) used on this Me109E,what is this strange outline tail,had it yellow wingtips(not very clear on photo)? The only colour illustrations I could find was Payne's Les Mess. dans la Batt. d'Angleterre 1980 and SAM Combat Colours by P.Scott,no drawing in Jagdwaffe Phase three Mombeeck/Wadman!
