  1. THANKS FOR THE GREAT FEED BACK will definitely give it a go - Nice touch to use cellophane - some fellows use foil as well but it does not give any depth !
  2. Absolutely stunning build - luv the dio base ! Quick question - What did you use for the great water-effect ?
  3. Have 4 in 1/72 but still need to acquire the 1/48 as well - Want to build them all into one display !
  4. Have two of these babies in my TO-DO List - with all the PE sets as well plus spare guns - The reason for two is that there are just soo many options in buildings this Sub - and being soo tiny - it is not possible to depict all on one Boat / Sub. Nice to read about the Triple AA PE short comings Thanks for such detailed feedback.
  5. Like the constructive critique from Mike, Always nice to get feedback from a Pro -
  6. Really excellent build - I must get one - this model screams for some radical conversion of sorts !
  7. Nice build - pity about the ''Maritime'' Villian ! maybe he needed the Tug to moor his Lifeboat !
  8. Thanks for the quick reply - The tip is definitely of great help - and will be tried out in my next Sea- Project Always shied away from silicone because of its tendency to attract dust and shrink - but I gather that with the lacquer cote it will prevent that from happening. Still very intrigued by the ''Cottonwool'' ! So that has been added to my bucket list of 1st to do items !
  9. I was just getting blown away with the Diorama and boat detailing - then you present a LIT-UP interior as well Definitely enjoyed this tremendously interesting build - nice to see some one brave enough to do a detailed interior layout...................
  10. Add me to the list of totally fooled viewers until the close-up pics - Kudus to you for a FUNtastic build. Well chosen I base for ingenious !
  11. WOW ! Now that is a 1st for me to hear of cotton wool being used for the foam [Absolutely amazing results] The silicon sealer is that the industrial/household type and may I inquire as to which of the brands of clear lacquer was used please ? Sea color really looks great ! last bow shot really shows up the dazzle Camo well !
  12. Stunning build, I would like to know which product you used to replace the Anchor & Chain plus the ''EZ-Line'' is this the product used to tie bait to the hooks ? Please excuse my ignorance ,but this sounds like an awesome [MUST-HAVE] rigging product. PS. thanks for sharing the Great Sea How-to !
