  1. Absolutely great news. AFAIK D3A2 has never been done in 1/48th (except perhaps a conversion). Fujimi and Hasegawa did the D3A1 in 1/48th. There were some significant differences in the two subtypes.
  2. Is that the Early or Late version of the Halberstadt in the duelists set? Great news either way.
  3. I remember looking over the WNW numbers last Jan as well. Most of the ones with low numbers that I made a mental note of have sold out by now. I remember the Felix late and one of the German 2-seaters (DFW CV early maybe) having very high numbers, like over 900 and a thousand respectively.
  4. Well.... now we know 32043 and 32044 are 1/32 Lancaster Bombers. That leaves 32062.
  5. Everything is sold out and they pulled the plug.
  6. I should of been more clear. I was speaking of the FB page where JimF had posted his question, not the company itself.
  7. Hi Jim, Not sure why why discussion about the mysteries of WNW operations are off limits there. English is not the owners first language and other English-speakers run the site for him as I recall. Don't sweat it, if their ship is to tight just come here for a more welcoming atmosphere.
  8. Se.5a is now Sold Out at WNW.
  9. What can I say...it's one of my favorite WWI aircraft. I'm hoping they offer us those versions. Also a W.12 Late while their at it. And W.29 in post war (Finland, Norway, Denmark, Japan, The Netherlands) markings.
  10. You do have more insight about it than I. I do hope they get some more Hannovers for folks that want them. I have 4 now so I'm good. As an aside I found a US retailer that was out of Pfalz DIIIa and the Jasta 5 trio but still had the Pup listed. I put in an order but not holding my breath.
  11. That's interesting. Looking at HLJ's list of WNW every kit listed as "Out Of Stock" is still available from Wingnuts themselves and all the kits listed as "Backordered" are Sold Out with Wingnuts. Edited: From my point of view at HLJ "Out Of Stock" means we have some coming while "Backordered" means we don't have any in the pipeline.
  12. Got my Hannover in from HLJ this week, great service from them as usual. I saw it was back in stock a few days ago but checking today they were gone. Worst news is it is now listed as Backordered (not Out Of Stock as before) like all the other unattainable WNW. So our days of picking the Hannover up semi-reasonable from HLJ may be over.
  13. Is it possible for UK folks to order the kit from WETA's warehouse in Europe?
  14. It's official. Albatros Jasta 5 Green Tail Trilogy is Sold Out on Wingnut Wings site. Duncan, you have one left don't you?
  15. I have one on the way as well. It is a steady supply as they have popped in and out of stock since WNW listed the Hannover Sold Out. They have it now listed as Out Of Stock, not Backordered like the Gotha, Pup, Pfalz DIIIa, etc. Strangely it is discounted 10%.
  16. I had noticed that too about WNW shopping page. It was probably a glitch in the system. At that time the Pfalz D.IIIa was down to 2 and went sold out a few days later. The Jasta 5 set was down to 9. Just looked on WNW site and the Jasta 5 still has a price up but is absent from the store page. On the opposite end of the spectrum did you notice how many Felixstowe Lates they had? Over 900! I don't think they will ever sell out.
  17. Thankyou for the confirmation.
  18. Any others fall in that category now? If I had to guess I'd say the SE.5a, Fokker E.II/III early, and maybe the Albatros Green Tail Trilogy.
  19. Hannants does not list any of the Pilot Replicas kits anymore, not even for pre-order. Only the figures, trucks, and assorted accessories. Spruebrothers still lists them as a manufacturer but the page is blank. I asked them why and they said "No Availability".
  20. I'm beginning to wonder if we will see the Venoms from Pilot Replicas. The 1/48 Saab J21 and J29 kits seem to have disappeared, Hannants and Spruebrothers do not even list those at all. Does anyone know what's going on with this company?
  21. Thank you Nicklas. I wondered if there were structural differences between the carrier and land based versions. I have a couple of CA Sea Venom's bought years ago when they were available. Also have several of Pilot Replicas J29 and really look forward to their Venoms.
  22. Nicklas, was there any reason besides kit availability that you did not use the Classic Airframes Sea Venom for this project?
