To stick larger pe to canopies on modern jets (canopy framing for example) I can recommend contact adhesive. I used it on my tornado build & it works great. Instant grip that doesn't let go. You just need to ensure its in the right place!

I use tamiya decal scissors for cutting thin etch. I use bigger scissors for longer cuts & get a nice straight edge.

Just looked at the sprue shots in the above link & it looks like the lrmts is included. Perhaps someone that has the kit could confirm?

Does this boxing have the lrmts housing for under the nose that the GR1 has? The IDS does not have one.

That is a stunning example of a monster typhoon. Weathering wise, I think it's just about right, they had a hard life & you have represented that well.
