  1. 1:24 scale - Italeri Scania R420 truck and trailer, a daily sighting of their trucks spurred me to do this livery, it has the M&G - Scania twin steer kit along with right hand dash and wipers. KFS - R420, marker boards and tax disc decals, apart from my own Fowler Welch home produced. Hope you like it, i'm quite pleased how it came out. Thanks for looking.
  2. Thanks, i'm looking for a 1:48 scale
  3. What's the best kit out there for a Red Arrow Hawk ? and will i have to get decals from Hannants to complete the job ?
  4. Cheers mate, do you get TMW (truck model world) magazine ?
  5. Thanks for kind comments, the next one will take a lot longer as it's a Scania R series- M&G twin steer conversion kit with resin and metal pieces for the Italeri R500 kit:- I think either M&G or KFS did some CF resin cabs for use with an Italeri as a donor kit, until they produce more they fly off the shelves so you got to be quick because of the rarity just keep checking their websites for future productions :-)
  6. This 1/24 build has taken 2 Italeri kits to make, using extra axle, wheels & mudguards for the midlift, air horns came from the Italeri accessories kit ! Fuel tank & RHD dash from KFS. Hope you like.
  7. Thanks for the comments, i'm now nearly completed a DAF XF midlift.
  8. Nice kit, i used to be a proud owner of an F reg RS Turbo in white back in '91, then 3 months later it was.....nicked !
  9. Based on a Truck that's stationed in Lincoln of which i've never seen but made from just one photograph ! It's my second truck build which consists of a KFS - TQ-42 Double drive kit conversion, KFS - Volvo upright exhaust stack, KFS RHD dashboard, M&G - Wings, M&G - Fuel tanks. The paint is white enamel plasticote, with airbrushed green stripes and chassis in Tamiya acrylic paints. The roof & Hazard lights came from the Italeri Truck accessory kit, home made decals modified font in MS paint then modified in coreldraw then printed onto Crafty Computer paper. Another for TMW magazine :-) The real truck followed by the model 1/24 scale http://www.roadway.co.uk/productnews/plone...6/Image00084852
  10. Nice one, you'll love the swirly echoey sound they make when changing direction or climbing on reheat ! yes 6 sqn were ex Jag at Coltishall.
  11. Thanks Bexy, the editor of Truck World Magazine has asked me if it can go into their magazine, i'm thrilled at that ! also isn't it mad that today's trucks are mainly all twin steer units for the last 10 yrs, most Italeri kits are 4x2 so you have to buy a twin steer conversion kit from KFS.
  12. I'm drooling, wonderful piece there Ted.
  13. Built my first ever kit of a truck and trailer in the 'Jack Richards & Son Ltd' livery, all OOB except the dash is which is RHD from Kingfisher models, scratch built trailer side impact bars made from spue ! made the decals myself which came out ok, but very difficult to get the very light blue word shadow on a yellow background and came out light green. Made a pleasant change from military jet fighters :-D
