After market resin bomb racks. You need two part super glue for these to bond the resin parts to the plastic kit which allows for a bit of repositioning, unlike normal super glue.

That's the wheels in place. I'm quite pleased with the amount of flatness on the bottom of the tyres. And no, I didn't create side bulges.

I really don't know if they did or not. They must have had rubber producing colonies? Next job is to mark out this wings and to get rid of a bit of moulding on the kit to accommodate these after market bomb racks from Model Design Construction. The kit doesn't come with bomb racks. :eh:

Undercarriage in place with the addition of a hydraulic cable made from a piece of speaker cable. It would have been much easier to install the landing gear if the destructions said to do it before glueing in the engine cowling.

I ordered the bomb racks from then earlier today. Undercarriage. Thanks to a friend for providing actual specs and technical drawings to help me work out where one of the bits went. The destructions wafted vaguely in the area for installation. The wheels could be a nightmare if I wanted them to go round due to the design, but fortunately, these will have flattened bottoms and glued in place.

I plan to use the Vallejo air range. I have the Luftwafa set which look pretty good.

That bit is scaring the crap out of me. lol

Bomb racks.

Both wings on now. I am also starting to worry that it won't fit in the display cabinet like I thought it would. Ahhhh it will go in, I'm sure it will. The undercarriage is under construction now. Well actually, they are built and being painted.

Has anyone else built this kit? There is a part which goes in the wheel bay which the destructions are less that clear about.

I contacted Aims Models about after market bits and thought they were quite rude. I won't be going back to them again. ps Second wing in place now. Box is nearly empty of parts.
