  1. Beautifully done Fuad - a real masterpiece Can I ask what final matt coat you use? Your builds look really lifelike, like they are actually made of metal and not just painted plastic - like mine do :0(
  2. Fantastic - One of the best paint chipping effects I have seen - very realistic. What metallic base coat did you use?
  3. What a great build, scheme and finish. Love the weathering, just right in my eyes. Can I ask what paint and varnish you used?
  4. Woah! That's lovely Joe. You've really done this beautiful aircraft justice. Love the NMF you've achieved. Can I ask which colour Alclad did you use and which, I am assuming satin, finish did you use?
  5. Very nice indeed, you've done a cracking job there murfv. I do love that scheme
  6. That is a cracking build Ali and I love the colour scheme. In fact it has inspired me to stick one on the wish list. I don't have your skills though, so is there a good 1/48 version of this with the same scheme that you can recommend?
  7. Very nicely done! Great build, paint job and weathering. You've made a less than attractive aircraft into a great model.
  8. Just had a though reading this. Could you mix sand with PVA? Pop it in when still semisolid and it could be manipulated into fully filling a nose and other forward cavities?? Anyone tried that or can see that it wouldn't work??
  9. Wow! That's impressive, you must have the patience of a saint with that camo and, what appears to be, at least a million stencils!

    Price of Klear

Forgive me hijacking your thread for my own issues beetcleaner, but when I have applied Klear with a brush previously I have lifted the paint (Tamiya) I am brushing over. Anyone any idea what I am doing wrong?
  11. Very impressive build and weathering, very nice indeed! I like the use of blocks of cheese to hold the model for photographing too
  12. Love it! Great build, paint job and weathering. The way you have emphasised the panel just back from the canopy and the one on the tail fin caught my eye and really adds to the overall effect. Sometimes it is tiny details that can make the difference.
