HI HMS Kelly got hit amidships with a torpedo in early 1940 whilst in the North Sea. I have only seen 1 or 2 photos of her being towed back to the tyne (mainly in the Kenneth Poolman book) does anyone know if there are other photos. I watched a TV show some time ago with Ted Briggs being taken to the site. I remember ROV images of the wreck and that there didnt seem to be 2 bits that looked right, one of the talking heads who happened to be a retired Admirality salvage expert and his comment was that the damage was so massive that he doubted that anyone would ever be able to give a exact cause of the main explosion. Lol at least the aliens havent been blamed for her loss YET

If you can get the Anatomy of Ship book HMS Hood and use the White Ensign etch set then a good model of the Grey Lady can be built. The Trumpeter version is nice but pricey Cant wait ti see her bell!!!!!!
