The glass sat proud on top of the trim, instead of being surrounded by it, not prototypical. it just looked wrong, I just had to make it look authentic. I guess I'm too fussy. -

The cutouts are part of the kit. -
Really nice, well engineered kit, except for the god awful windows, which were replaced with clear acetate. Refinished in PPG midnight blue lacquer. Interior done in PPG lacquers. Duplicolor clear coat. Minimal wiring.

Its the out of the box ride height and the old 1/24th Monogram kit.

Refinished in the very rare color- Sage green. Scratch built items- parking brake cables, master cylinder, windshield washer bag, voltage regulator, heater hoses, battery terminals. Engine wired.

Refinished in BASF Lapis Blue lacquer with Duplicolor clear. Removed all badges and lettering from the body. Engine wired and plumbed. Parts box wheels.

The chrome parts are kit pieces with the exception of the wheels which are from my parts box.

4mm roof chop, 5mm lowered suspension. Removed spare gas tank, engine wired and plumbed. Parts box tires and wheels. Refinished in DupliColor lacquers and TransStar clear coat.

I built one back in the 60s with my dad, we wrapped the crank and rod journels with teflon fitting tape and it ran smooth and quiet Your build brings back some fond memories.Your work is top notch! -
Removed the front grill surround, tail panel and wheel arch moldings. Engine wired and plumbed. Refinished in DuPont lacquer and TransStar clear.

Refinished in PPG lacquer, DuPont urethane clear coat. Minimal wiring, machine aluminum pulleys. Scratch built front and rear shocks, aluminum spreader bars front and rear, faux hood hinge, tail lights, floor shifter assembly and seat belts. Built this about 17 years ago.

I attempted this back in 1965 and it didn't come out very good, 55 years later I got it done. Lindberg kit, engine wired and plumbed. Added details- master cylinder, windshield washer bag, distributor, lower ride height. Refinished in PPG lacquer with Transtar clear.
