Very smart livery Dave, and a nice nod to the great Freddie Laker.
Thanks for posting.

Hi Neil.
Excellent Matey. You couldn't have chosen a more plausible scheme in my view. Another winner.
Speak soon.

You were out of action according to the DoDE. Tried to call you several times since but to quote your answering message, "can't reach the phone"
Have you tried stretching? 🖕

Thanks for your custom and kind words. Really appreciated.

Surely the Boeing 707 would be a worthy contender. Sadly the type has been poorly represented in model terms with the exception of the resin kit from Authentic Airliners.
I've got my fingers crossed. 🙏

As an Airbus fan, I must admit it the single isle aircraft looks ugly compared to the Boeing narrow body aircraft.
Nice to see the manufacturer's livery side by side.

I've some spare cabin and flight deck window decals for the A320 if yours don't arrive in time.

Is there anyone willing and able to maker a laser copy of a silk screen decal?
The reason I'm asking is that I have a set of B.A. world tails decals for a B737-300 that are no longer available. Unfortunately they "appear" to be yellowing, although this may not be the case as they are printed on a slightly off white backing sheet. I thought a laser copy of the tail decal would be a good idea but obviously this would have to be done before I tried to apply the original design. It is a rather colourful decal but thankfully is to be applied on a white background.
Obviously, all costs and expenses would be covered so If there is anyone able to help with this I would be very grateful.
Thanks in advance.

Classic Airframes Blenheim now sold so it's about time I gave the thread a little bump.

Try placing the decal in a sunny place - as reported on here many times - it reverses the yellowing process.
Also prevents breach of copyright.
The problem with this method is that the results are only temporary in my experience. As I mentioned, I'm not entirely sure that the carrier film has gone yellow due to the colour of the backing paper they are printed on.
Thanks to you and Rob for the suggestions though.

What a lovely result John. Can't beat a nice Merc.
I have a question however. Are those Großmutter Schmidt apples by any chance? 🍏
Chris.
PS. I'd nip and see the doctor if I were you. Your plumbs are a funny colour.

Previously G-BARS wore a very smart cream and black livery when with the HSSandC flying school here in Hawarden. Spent many hours in G-BARS and sad to see it humiliated in fancy dress.

There are few modern liveries that appeal to me these days but this one is rather nice I must say.
Another lovely model Dave. Thanks for sharing.
