  1. Mike this is a very nice product and very simple to use! I made a video on how to use it ... unfortunatly the soundtrack is awfull!!
  2. Hello to all!! Thanks for all the comments... Right now this project is in the corner since I have some other tasks to attend to ... hope I can get my hands back on my matchbox fun models soon ... but it will be only after Modelscala 2012 !!! (Modelscala 2012 = Modelling expo in 29 and 30 of september) Cya !!!
  3. Hey Luis I have a bunch load of models in the workbench and I know the feeling of looking and dont know when they will be finished!!! I talked to some model builders and I bought more matchboxes (B-25 , F-101 and the Phantom) but there was no P-47... I'm always looking out for more so if I find any P-47 I will be sure to let u know!!! Enough talk and go to the workbench and finish those 30 models!!!
  4. Great job on that HellDiver... looks awesome!!! That extra mile ... or should I say Miles you did with the scratch work are really gorgeous!!! I have to change my signature since the P-51 and the hellcat are done... the others are all on hold!!! Thanks for all the comments!!!
  5. Hi Luis thanks for the kind comments!! Its curious that the matchbox that I had most fun was the P-47 !!! The model is finished but I had to speed it up for an expo!!! It whent to the expo but it has not returned home and i forgot to take photos!! Still a friend of mine sent me these! You can see the p-51 behind theJapanesedio:

  9. Great Work mate!!! Very nice indeed!!! Any pointers ???
  10. Thank you for your words ... if I may suggest take it out of the stash and put it on the bench... really a nice model to do Regarding your question... Well I have some brands of paint that have metallic colors but for me nothing is better then alclaad!! I didn't chip the paint... since this was a plane not used in combat! I just wanna give it a metallic feeling that's why the undercoat is metallic!
  11. Hello ladies and gents!!! Time for another Matchbox Build!!! I thought this model would be much quicker to build... but this tail is really hard to chew!!! Lovely Box art Base stand!! Interior colour Building... This tail is giving me a headache
  12. Hello... Yes!! another Matchbox kit by me!! I don't know why but I really love building these classic, classy Models!!! hihihi!!! My model Club has decided to make a SIG of the P-51 !!! And I decided to enter with this lovely Matchbox... All does not go well ... but I will explain later!! The Boxart ... The box contents... sprues, decals and instructions... The base for the model is done... and of course I had to take a picture of the Coffee Mug witch has the Badge of the Clubs SIG (don't know why but coffee tastes better in that mug) !!! hihihi!!! Building Take a deep look at this photo... can you see the canopy??? It was the last time I saw it in one piece!!! Thank God a fellow mate here in this forum sold me is Matchbox P-51... Every time the door bell rings I hope its the mail man!!!
  13. Wonderfull work!!! These "junkyard" builds are very hard to execute but you make it seem so easy!!!
  14. Time to get the rest of the paint job done... Varnish and ready for decals The Hinomaru decals where divided in 2... first the white circle.. then the red one... After a coat of Matt varnish ... its done Hope you enjoy it! See you on my next build !!!
  15. The Engines... First applied a coat of gloss black After that a thin coat of alclaad Getting work on the wings... Time to take a step back and do a dry fit... everything seems to be in order... After the glue is dry its time to prime with gloss black And silver on top... I think the pilot is happy with it...
