These are really cool looking machines-proportions just right. A great build there one to be proud of-and how refreshing to see a relatively clean tank-given the current trend for heavy weathering (which I do like, but it just seems to be everywhere at the moment)-lovely job! Mike

Wow what a stunning pair! The combination of really high quality build and great photography gives a magazine studio shoot feel-brilliant! Modern muscle cars are sooo cool, even better than the originals. My fav is the Mustang-the body shape is stunning the proportions of the front to the cabin give the impression of huge power-and in some cases that's backed up by real power too. Mike

Very nice-great idea to de-clutter-remove handles etc. Sort of gasser style going on there with highish front-typical of that style. I like the pinstriping on the trunk-is tha a decal or very careful painting?! Oh and lovely colour-great work! Mike

Thanks Billy, yes Humbrol acrylics,flesh colour+black for shadows and white for highlights and a dash of red for cheeks/lips/around eyes. Mike

Yeess, love it, great concept, good imagination there and lovely build! Not great vision from the driver's seat but with those wepons what does that matter! Just the sort of vehicle for the M25! Mike

Wow what a fantastic build,lovely paint finish, one of the best I've seen! One small point, do you think the gap around the doors should be black or similar? When you look at 'real' cars, the gaps around doors are very dark. Mike

My latest 'build'-a 120mm resin RAF pilot figure from Heritage Aviation. No assembly but I cut/scraped off the leads. I replaced these with lead wire and oxygen tube is a bit of wire I had lying around. Rank stripes are tamiya tape. More of a painting exercise-much practice needed! Painted with Humbrol acrylics and yes the blue shade of the uniform looks too light. I don't know of a standard colour that is closer to the actual uniform. Sorry about last two pics-photobucket keeps turning themround when posting. Thanks for looking. Mike

Just about valid for posting here? This is the Iron Man War Machine by Moebius. Fantastic kit, lots of detail and goes together like a dream-glue was only used to secure some parts, the rest were such good fits. No flash at all! Done as a 'what if' I painted it in a sort of digital urbam camo, the heavily weathered. I tried the hairspray technique, but it didn't work that great this time-and various dirty washes and dry brushing. Anyway lovely kit and fun to paint. This came from Modelzone before they went bust, RRP £30 yet they 'gave' this away for £10-and that was their normal price-bargain! Thanks for looking. Mike

So this is my dio with the Italeri Hurricane (1/48). I wanted to do something a bit different to the usual BoB that I do, so RAF in Russia seemed like a good idea. It is a bit of a 'what if' as this plane should be a MK11 and grey/green, but it was more of a Russian image that I wanted. Kit itself is pretty poor, lots of flash and some poor fits which for a new tool is poor. Looking at other forums it is reckoned that the wolf and silver aroundthe star should be white or grey, but I couldn't be bothered to paint them over. Figures are from Eduard-the VVS figs are so boring-just various standing poses. I added a couple of arms from the RAF set to adjust the poses and added an RAF mechanic on the wing. This dio is based on the few photos of the period which all seem to show rough and wet ground. Sorry pics are not that great-and they do show up a lot of brush marks which don't seem as obvious to the eye! Thanks for looking. Mike

Mmm-now that is a cracking good job-great subject! Is that based on a Model B? I notice after years of hot rods etc having roof chops to get better proportions car manufacturers are doing the same, New Range Rover, Audi TT and lots of hatchbacks now have quite small window areas-can't beat good old hot rods for style, I look forward to seeing more of this! That must be quite a big size? Mike

That metal finish has come out really good-well done! It's always worth experimenting-and be prepared for things not to work. Mike

Seems she died of natural causes due to the accident-very sad. Does anyone know the original cause of the accident-was it driver error as I understand the car was found to be ok? Mike

Brilliant,you have an amazing talent for making ordinary objects look so realistic-a great dio. The figures have come out well and give life to the dio. Not sure about the dog as I've never seen any model dogs look realistic compared to humans-no matter how well painted. Mike

In the top pic,looks like staining on the tail planes too,not surprising with all of that oil being blown back. Mike
