Hi Peter how is the 1:1 build going, just wanted to give you a quick thankyou for your pictures you took of the build and thought I would show you some work in progress pic's of the nav seat Using a drawing and scaling it to 1/32 to get a size of the seat (height and width) used your pics of seat to get length so its approx Anyway thanks again stay safe. Regards Richard

  4. Was the measurement of 1.3m inside of cockpit back of open windows Peter, if so model is correct On another note could you take a couple of pictures of the underneath of the Nav's seat I would like to see what it looks like so that I can make it. Regards Richard
  5. Have some drawings of formers (frames) but not of A, B, C and D which is a shame, but do have a good drawing of former F and G which are a channels and both are 2 3/4" in width and 5/8" +/- 3/32 legs 20GA thk Alclad material. Regards Richard
  6. Did drill through the side and measured it to be 1.4mm which works out to be 1,7" at those points, this makes the inside frames look small, but the good thing is the outside is very close. But did find the glass canopy a little long Regards Richard
  7. Nice shot of the right side Peter it shows the second frame from the front in the correct place another small item HKM got wrong. Regards Richard

  15. You say "you are not sure what the two instruments are that sit above the cockpit coaming" the left hand one is D.F Indicator and right one is the D.R. Compass Repeater

  18. Hi Peter just thought I would show you want I have come up with from some of the measurements you have provided and the from the side drawing still got more to do just wish I could get some good drawings with dimension of this area. Have seen some pics on the column and it proves that the HKM column is too small Don you said the the nav's desk is to small and I agree but does anyone have the dimension for the table, I think it should go to the next rib forward which is about 8mm Again thanks Peter for posting all these pictures they say a thousand words, Regards Richard
  19. Thanks for the dimension of the wheel Peter 👍 Regards Richard
  20. Hi Peter Thanks for the dimensions but could I ask for some more I have drawn to scale the side view of the plinth and have put dimensions which I think are close but need verifying these I have circled in red, also scaled up the drawing of a control column and as you will see got a few dimensions from this, ( this is to help with the build if this is not allowed please remove) The next two pictures are yours and I have tried to get some form of dimensions by scaling which are in red and others I have marked with a question mark but if you can confirm these that would be fantastic. Last pictures need to know diameter of the wheel and how high of the plinth floor also and could also get a dimension from the corner to center of wheel Regards Richard
  21. Thanks very much for these measurement Peter as Ian says above very appreciated Regards Richard
  22. Put together the kit seat and you will see it is to big Did my changes (doctoring ) to the seat before I came across this blog but this will give you an idea, Peter can confirm if I'm out The kit seat width I have not changed so that has come out as being 16" wide Regards Richard
  23. Hi Don I have doctored HKM seat quite a bit do have a second Lanc will put that one together so that you can see how much 👍 Regards Richard
  24. Peter Going back to my re scaled drawing I measure 1/16” for the plinth thickness which works out to be 2” real scale and you have said dimension is 3” thick can you double check please I am working on building the truss which goes underneath Did take one of your pictures worked out a scale at a given point and it comes out as 2” 🤔 Regards Richard
