  1. Hello Gentlemen, This is probably quite a long shot, but I have to try.. I'm trying to find instruction manual for Contact Resine 1/24 Hansa-Brandenburg D.1. It was included in the kit as CD with pdf files. It seems that company is long out of business, website is closed, however, they have Facebook page. It was last updated in April'17, but I never received any reply on my messages. So, do you know a way to contact Contact Resine, other than Facebook? Or maybe someone owns the kit and can share instruction files? Thank you in advance
  2. DeAgostini just launched 1:32 Ilya Muromets multimedia partwork kit in Russia. Definitely not WNW, but good starting point! http://plane.deagostini.ru/model
  3. Wow!! Look at these tubes'n'wires around the engine!! That's amasing!!
  4. Hi, Mike, please look at these photos: Ramp in the lowermost position. Also note the position of vortex generator on the rear flap of the ramp FOD cover: Source: http://www.kpopov.ru/military/ulk_avia_museum_12.htm
  5. Here it is Source:http://vk.com/zvezdamodels?w=wall-29859496_356084%2Fall
  6. Yes, ramp will never be in the position Kitty Hawk placed it. I just marked the place where vortex generator should be on PE detail.
  7. Hi, JeffreyK Tree-like structure is the vortex generator, located on the rear flap of the intake ramp So the proper place to put it on the model would be here
  8. These are not FODs but internal ramps used to organize air flow in the intake. KH made mistake showing them in fully closed position
  9. Nice progress on this classic! This model does bring back memories. As a child I dreamed about those Plasticart kits. They came with two metal tubes, glue and some kind of metallic paint, and could be assembled in couple of hours BR Ilya
  10. general melchett: These photos are not mine, the guy who took them has several great walkarounds of the bombers stored at Monino, like Tu-4 and Tu-22M0. These planes were kept closed for decades, so the interiors are almost complete and in original colors.
  11. Hello, You may like the following link http://igor113.livejournal.com/369557.html#cutid1 interior shots (Cockpit, wheel wells.. everything!!) of 3MD from Monino museum Hope it's not too late..
  12. Since large scales are quite popular these days, why not to dream about (well researched) 1/32 Yak-1,1b,7,3,9 , LaGG-3s and La-5,5F,5FN,7? IMHO this is a true goldmine, which is totally neglected by manufacturers.
  13. I contacted Xuntong regarding that issue, and received a reply that it is too late to adjust the decal. They confirmed, however, that the molds were modified according to the information received from Russian modelers. This also caused slight delay, the model will be released early to mid August. BR Ilya
  14. Hi, all the kit does exist, and I recently acquired one on Ebay. I made a small review on Scalemodels.ru http://scalemodels.ru/modules/forum/viewtopic_p_856848.html#856848 It is in Russian but photos speak for themselves. This is one of the Contrail's better efforts, imho, neat (not-so) little kit.
