  1. and.....three nose wheel types !!!!! Tony
  2. the less said about the Matchbox kit, the better. Nothing about it is Sabre shaped. Tony
  3. A Mk2, or 3 would need the aft section with the all flying tail, from a Airfix, Academy, or Hasegawa kit. A Canadair Mk1 would be easy. Tony
  4. my mix; source unknown is: 18 parts Tamiya X-2, 1 part X-14, 1 part X-28. Tony
  5. Once you clean up the cockpit area with some aftermarket and a bit of 'modelling'; the Airfix kit does build up into a serious contender against the Hasecademy one.
  6. Airfix will not produce a Sabre 6, or a narrow chord wing. The Italians used ex-RAF Mk4s Tony
  7. Lovely work on that Sabre !! 2 small points; your nose leg door should be folded close to a 90 degree bend; your wing fences should be a bit more rectangular shaped nice clean work on that Mk4 (F-86EM) Cheers, Tony
  8. the F-86E(M) from Yugoslavia was an ex Sabre Mk4 Canadair built. Lots of kits can make that version because most of the kits have the hard edge wing. Tony
  9. Well done Greg !! It’s been a while, how are you doing these days Tony
  10. yes, the bump is a Westland thing, not on a Sikorsky machine Tony
  11. if you re-decal that Sea King, take the time to remove the Westland bump off the LH side of the engine/transmission cover Nice collection, by the way. Cheers, Tony
  12. the whole firewall forward is not shaped like a Cessna 172, period Tony ps; then there's the landing gear
  13. nice work even on the landing gear corrections, BUT, in this day and age of 3D scanning and 3D printing; the kit's outline (especially the nose area) is not very Cessna 172 shaped. Way too narrow at the front of the cowling, and should not be so sloped down in front of the windscreen. Still, nobody should mistake it for a Sopwith Camel Cheers, Tony
  14. Your account is set NOT to receive messages, I tried
  15. I was looking at the black tank like thing in the centre of the upper plenum
  16. the 'upper' one looks like tank or similar Tony
  17. I’m not that far away, Mousehole, in Cornwall 😎
  18. Depends, if they have the large head box, then no, they won’t work for a Canadian F-5 edit; just looked, they are WRONG for the CF116.
