  1. Okey dokey, basically i'm currently working on Revell's 1/48th mosquito B mk VI and i have already unearthed a problem. The two sections of the forward fuelage do not fit correctly as there is a rather large gap behind the cockpit area and on the underside, the fusealge either side of the crew hatch dosen't even connect at all. Could anyone suggest any possible reasons for this???? Cheers Ed
  2. I like that! i've just done a 1/35 tiger as number 131 at Bovington which i saw at tankfest 2009 (Awesome). Nice weathering as well. How did you do it?
  3. Nice! would you mind telling me how you weathered the panel lines, they look just right!
  4. Hi antoine! at present i'm currently working on the Revell 1/48 MiG-25 and finding the right cockpit colour also proved a tricky prospect. However, i found that Xtracolour do a paint (x629 Blue/green) that works beautifully and is the exact shade for russian cockpits. I think the shade you've used is nice but maybe a little to pale? All the same, nice work! xan't wait to see it when it's finished and hopefully mine should also be finished soon!
  5. Hi! I remeber once building the Revell tornado and to be quite honest i wasn't quite impressed with the kit, personally i would stick with the hasegawa as to my record Hasegawa never fail to please! Cheers Ed
  6. WOW!!!!! If only it was like that for WFD, even the most bias judge in the world couldn't keep that off the top spot.... AMAZINGLY GOOD AAARGH...

    Which Airbrush?

Well, personally i never used the 132 but i found that after a while, the double action slide button became faulty, and sometimes the needle wouldn't retract properly causing seething problems when mid-spraying !

    Which Airbrush?

In budget i was thinking between £40-£60...
  9. Hi! all, recently my old cheap BD-128 airbrush decided to pack up and after numerous repair attempts, i think it's beyond repair and it's time to invest in a replacement However- I don't know much about airbrushes and i was wondering if anyone would be able to give me some advice regarding which ones to consider and generally where i might start. Cheers Ed
  10. Hi! I must say that does look very nice and i'm thinking of buying one myself, would you be able to tell me what the kit is like to build (i.e fit/moulding quality) cheers Ed
  11. Hi! personally i find that humbrol enamels 163 (RAF Green) and 30 (Dark green followed by a green wash) work very well indeed for RAF pilots. This is merely my opinion i suppose it's down to what you think looks best to apply to your model...
  12. Ok, now i know it's been a while since ny last instalement but here's the next part, and i'm sorry about the picture quality! all the seams have been filled and sanded and now she's ready for paint. Here's the finished fuselage... Hers another pic, this time showing the big engines... And finally, heres the AA-6 Acrid missiles... Thanks for viewing please comment!
  13. Hi! my name is Ed, a few people on this forum probably aleready know me, I'm 15 years old and i've been meaning to start this project for some time now but i finally found time and managed to get started. The first thing i noticed about the kit is it's size. It's absoluteley massive with the main fuselage coming in four separate parts and various other details like the mostrous Tumanskii engines and the totally inaccurate cockpit. Nontheless, i decided to use it anyway as this is my first real post and i thought i'd do an 'out the box build' Enjoy! The first thing i assembled was the rear fuselage, Ther weren't any major fit problems at all. Another photo showing the enourmus afterburners Here's the forward fuselage... Here's a photo of the cokpit (sorry about the terrible quality) And finally heres a pic of the decal sheet (just thought i'd post a pic for convinence) Cheers for viewing, i should be posting again soon and sorry about the chronic turnout of the cockpit photo!
