  1. Scanned one for the 29/11 sqn version and zip filed it. If you pm me I'll get it off to you. Cheers, John
  2. Hi Guys and gals, A general question that we were discussing at a recent model meet; I was wondering if any of you who use Humbrol Matt Cote have noticed that since they have changed from the square bottles (as in before Humbrol were taken over) and now in the round bottles, there is a distinct difference in the Matt finish and that the matting agent seperates out into a very thick gell at the bottom of the bottle and is a bitch to get to dissolve so that you can paint it or spray it. A pal of mine has sprayed a FW190 Twice and it keeps coming out gloss....... Also, I would be very interested as to what everybody uses for their favourite Matt and Satin finishes as I have always used Humbrol "Cotes" Thanks for any replies John
  3. Thanks to all you guys and gals for your kind comments. Much Appreciated. So Glad you all liked it. Now I know that the new owner should like it................ Don't know what to build next............fairly large stash. Any Requests??????
  4. Thanks for your comments. Paints used were Extra colour and when gloss I ran my own mix of dirty thinners into the engraving. Once matted, the weathering is nearly all pastels chalks. As requested, a pic of the bellyside. Cheers
  5. The Pit is black box offering which was silly accurate, I used some of Eduards etch for the exhausts and some parts in the Pits. The RBF tags are eduards and the seeker heads are scratch as are the fod guards hiding the hideous kit intakes. It is enormous at 22" long. Thanks for your kind comments.
  6. 32nd scale Tamiya F4J. Been very busy lately but have managed to find time to finish this beast. I was asked to build it for a friend and I hope he approves. We know the load out wasn't common on the "J" but it was the best looking. Thanks for Looking
  7. Hi Markmarples, I happen to be sitting on 2 of flightpaths alarms that I didn't use when I built my GR1. Made of white metal and Brass fins, really nice and your welcome to have them. PM me with your details and I'll stick them in the post or if any use I am heading to waddington airshow. I don't have the pylons though. Cheers
  8. Thanks Spad. The base kit is airfix 1:48 Lightning with loads removed, cut away, missing and added regards
  9. Your wish is my comand sir! Thanks for your comments.
  10. Very many thanks to you all for your comments. I had great fun building it; took about seven months on and off to complete. I'll let you know how it got on. This is one I entered last year and it won best in class and the Revell trophy. First time I had won anything for my kits.
  11. Hi, Newbie to this excellent site. A quick preview of what I am taking to the Scottish Nationals in Perth. Would welcome comments and is anybody else going?
