  1. That foging would polish out with some plasic canopy polish from "Bare metal foil".
  2. The Trumpeter is twice the price and four times better..... http://www.modelingmadness.com/reviews/all...ver/tmc242c.htm http://www.modelingmadness.com/reviews/all.../dixonhurri.htm
  3. Eh......This to a guy planning to become an immigrant ....lol...<content removed>
  4. Lucky the dog wasn't called " green custard"......I gather the government dont like that now :-) Anyway...how are these B-17s going to get from the USA to Germany and is there any point if the main baddies are killed in a car chase anyway ??
  5. As a Tourist....The deciding factor would have to be Duxford is next to the University town of Cambridge which would be high on any visitors places as a town worth a visit. that would swing it for me. Also have in mind the UK's American forces museum is on the Duxford site which i would imagine would be of great interest to you
  6. I would say the UK is a " good' modeler area" after the USA ,bearing in mind that the whole of the UK is smaller than California alone :-))
  7. It really depends on where your going to be and where your interests lie If your down south (London) then the RAF museum at Hendon is good but it is all static and dosnt really do it for me. 40 minutes up the road is Duxford where most of the aircraft ( WWII fighters mainly) are live, smell of Oil and if the weather is good then you might catch some flying as well. There is also lots of static stuff if you like dead aeroplanes:-) http://duxford.iwm.org.uk/ http://www.rafmuseum.org.uk/ Personally i would tell the Mrs that Duxford is a huge dress shop...that way you can do both :-)
  8. Well if you need reference pictures i probably have them somewhere :-))
  9. I don't think its quite that clear cut as the SNJ-4, -5, -6 all had different canopies. In fact a quick look through a few books and i cant find two canopies the same !!
  10. Nice shots and some decent weather :-)) This is something i built a couple of years back.....might interest you :-) http://www.modelingmadness.com/reviews/civil/barrattm.htm
  11. Well i wasn't really thinking about Iraq although they did balls that up as well :-)) I was thinking of poor old blighty, brought to its knee's and now bankrupt rather like Germany 1945. Its amazing how Brown, leader of the banking capital of the world. insurance capital of the world and investment capital of the world, teams up with the USA and says.....its not our fault...its a world thing.....lol.. Oh well, nothing we can do about it :-))
  12. One day we will ban the red rose of the labour party for the same reasons :-)
  13. What a beautiful model. An absolute work of art. Well done :-)
