  1. As you have helped with another problem perhaps someone can help with this. Need a 1:24 scale model of a CQR anchor. I cannot find a manufacturer that does one. They are very highly regarded anchor holding in hurricanes in mud and sand and other bottoms.
  2. Thanks for your comments. I cannot use ali foils as I have to silver solder into an H section before final shaping and drilling and polish. On a fairly modern sailing yacht (1980) no one makes modeller's components ToniT. Would like to take you up on your offer. Thickness to be: 0.30mm (0.12in or 30 Imp Wire Guage) or 0.25mm (0.25in or 33 IWG) Sizes about that of larger (event) postage stamps.
  3. Definitely not cheap when I need a couple of post stamps worth. But thanks for the thought.
  4. Modelling a fairly modern 1980 yacht and having to make most of the components including SS Genoa cars. Most of the manufacturers do not cover this recent period. So a source of SS Shim would be great. Thanks.
