  1. Thanks Spad, closest I've got so far ! Can't believe Airfix never mention it and that there are so few photo references.
  2. Hi All, Having taken up the Airfix offer of a Valiant for £18 and the Accessories pack for £2.99 I received my package today. However, there is no indication at all in the instructions as to the colour scheme of the interior of the re-fuelling bay, hose reel, etc. Does anyone have any idea what colour they were ?? Any info' greatly appreciated. Thanks all, Roger
  3. Thanks Trojan Thunder, I'll give it a try. Shame to see it go to waste otherwise. Rog
  4. I know it's a big ask and a total long shot but I don't suppose anyone has a cockpit glazing set for an old Esci Lockheed Hercules ?? My son has acquired one but sadly it is minus the clear parts. Pity because essentially it's a pretty good kit. Hoping someone may just have one tucked away in the bits bin. Thanks for your help Best regards Roger
  5. Quick question on the Avenger topic. Did the FAA ever receive any Avengers with the underbelly pod as per Skyraider and Gannet ? I believe the French, Dutch and Canadians had them but wondered if the Navy did too ??
  6. That's fantastic ! I'd love them please
  7. Hi Thomasweir, Thanks, yes, that would be brilliant ! Which radome have you got ?? Roger
  8. Hi, I'm about to start on a 'cluster' of Sea Kings based on Airfix kits I've purchased over the years. Problem is, to be able to complete the set I need an AEW2 Searchwater radome, (preferably inflated) and an HAR/HAS.6 spine radome. Are these available as a detailing kit ? Dare say I could scratchbuild the HAR.6 but not sure of the dimensions of either. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks ever so, Roger
  9. Hi AtomUK. Did you get my email regards address for decals you so kindly offered ? Look forward to hearing from you. Best regards Roger
  10. Aaaah Miggers ! My head hurts now !! Thought my original recollections were correct that Guy Gibson's Lanc' was ZN-Y. So what you are saying is that the Matchbox kit is of ZN-A. Well, I'm glad we sorted that out, Lol !! Still need to get a set of decals sorted then off we go. Thanks again for the help. Roger
  11. Hi Atom.uk, further to your earlier post did you find out what 106 Sqn decals you might have spare ?? Regards Roger
  12. Oops ! Thanks Miggers. Read the original message and wrote the reply and still never twigged !! Of course G.G's plane was ZN-A, there's enough references to it ! That's why I was trying to steer away from it a bit to another 106 Sqn machine.
  13. Thanks Atom.Uk. Yes please, I would be interested to know what you've got. Yes John, I knew ZN-Y was Guy Gibson's. Named Admiral Prune II wasn't it ?
  14. Thanks Miggers and Tim T for the replies. Hmm, wonder if I might get one on good old ebay. Meantime I'll have a look at Hannants. Remember a while ago one of the modelling sites had a decal bank of swaps, anyone know if this still exists.
