  1. Nicely done Ronan on this build! Very beautiful aircraft. Pitty that you did not clean the seams on the underside. Cheers!
  2. Nice job! The sculptor itself is not very good representation of Natalia. The most prominant is the jaws.. They are to wide as well as the eyes. But she is recognasible A beautiful women and a good person too. I wish all prosecutors were like her ) http://vm.ru/photo/moscvichka/2015/01/doc6is3mzwddkptny3p87g.jpg
  3. Finally i am online and what do i see?! Very well build and finished model of a Beagle!! I like it very much! I like that it is big and i like it in metal finish worn and weathered just enough! And most of all i have enjoyed in-progress build full of interesting and useful tips for those like me who are hoping to start building this model. Thank you IPMS19! . Well done!
  4. Hi, guys I am building an Airfix Seafire FR.46/47 I have not yet decided what mark I will do, most likely FR.47 Working now on the cockpit. Do you know where can I find good detailed cockpit pictures to add a bit of details and colours to the model. Also pictures of the airframes and wing fold mechanism will help me a lot. Thank you Sergey
  5. J.M. Great progress! Very interesting to follow your build. It will be of great help when built mine. Thanks for sharing! Sergey
  6. Thank you Tom My mistake with cans was that while I am doing the same - spraying from the distance - I dont make breaks for "a coffee or a smoke" for 15 mins, trying to finish it in one go. Cant just sit and wait Need to learn to be a bit more patient! Cheers Sergey
  7. IPMS19, thank you for the tips Now I wish I had more time for modelling Cheers Sergey
  8. Tom, your build is very educative! How do you achieve thin layers straight from the can? Spraying from the distance?
  9. John W nice seats, but it is impossible to build a Beagle from the Trumpeter kit, unless you dont care
  10. Great build! I bought the same model and am going to build it for sure as my grand dad was flying it and crashed on a Beagle in 1955 I would suggest to you to look at this thread here. It is in Russian but there are plenty of reference materials http://scalemodels.ru/modules/forum/viewtopic_t_20388.html
  11. OK, Mike I live in London, so may be I can jump on the wheels and drive to Chester =) it could be done as something like this http://modelism.airforce.ru/reviews/ru/mig-25_revell/comments/index.htm Sergey
  12. Laurent, yes they correspond to something that is not correct on the subjects. Like, e.g. this type of Pito tube is not for PD/PDS but for P. But again, these are CAD drawings and may be KH showed all variants they want to model in future. Who knows. Otherwise why would there be bombs on PD/PDS? As to the help to a designer.. Well.. you are right.. someone should sit next to him all the time. We can see an example of GWH MiG-29 where Alexander Drannikov who mentioned on the instruction as advisor for the model now says that lots of his comments on a CAD drawings and master were ignored. And he has been 3D modelling MiG-29, Su-27 and other subjects for years with years of field research etc... So, I guess you are right.. KH is in hurry to be the first and I can't really blame them but again it would be great to listen when there is someone to listen to and adjust accordingly. There was a plenty of time and there are lots of experts. What could be easier - find an expert, sign NDA and exploit them to achieve the best result. Sergey
