  1. From the book "Gloster Meteor FMK IV en la Fueza Aerea Argentina" The task of qualifying the argentine pilots was assigned to Sqn Ldr Rodney. Three RAF MK 3 aircraft were used, MK 3 EE367 belonging to RAE at Farnbourough MK 3 EE460 belonging to 263th Squadron Wattisham MK 3 EE470 belonging to 63th Squadron Waterbeach As CliffB pointed out I-007 thru I-012 were the from the first batch of the FAA Meteor MK 4 also used for training. Hope that helps Als there is a picture of 2 argentine pilots and their IP in front of one of the MK 3, B/W pic looks like standard camouflage can not see codes.
  2. Hi TOPGUN88, Try Pista06, but write in english dont use a translator or the only one that will know what youre writing will be Manuel from Fawlty Towers. Even though its a spanish langage site most read and write the Queen's english, better than me.Cheers
  3. Maybe can help to make clear as mud The Authentic Decal sheet 72-47 calls out the dark green as Humbrol 3 Brunswick green and the light green as Humbrol 80 Grass green. Also shows 071 having a "modified" wrap around. No 36176 anywhere. New paint scheme on the Peruvian Frogfoots is similar to the Mirage 2000. Light and darker grayish blues. Looks really nice in those colors, but they dont have the tiger nose art. Someone should mention to them "Once a tiger, always a tiger"
  4. Hello Fellow Modellers, Maybe I missed it, what is the kit number? Thanks
  5. I'm in for 2 set as well. Please let me know when they are available. Cheers
  6. There is a book by Jorge F. Nuñez Padin, Vought F4U-5, -5N & -5NL Corsair, Serie Aeronaval Nro 18. Covers just about every aspect of the "Corsario" in service with the Argentine Navy. Its full of both color and B/W pics , individual aircraft histories and color plates.
  7. The areas that are painted red on the EF have all been pointed out. There are no red areas in the lower electronic bay or under the "canoe" area (antenna fairing). I think that the spoilers and the rotating wing glove have been mentioned, but just in case. And as Mungo1974 pointed out the main gear door/speedbrake has at least 2 large black patches. I dont know how detailed or the scale but they are anti slip (rough) and are a step area, just little aft of the were the wheels rest . The red areas are the same for the EF as for any other US F-111
  8. Great, got my package today, proper scale and in the proper box. Thank You Skunkworks and LuckyModel.
  9. Thank you Dave. Thats exactly what I'm finding out. But I have a solution in mind, by using more pieces parts off a partial FROG kit (just using the canopy now) I found . Thats a great looking conversion, with the 12 .303's instead of the cannons. Cheers Walt
  10. Hi Everyone, Looking to do this, I started the conversion but having trouble with the canopy/rear decking on the fuselage. Also anyone that might have made this conversion, any tips will be very helpful. Thanks Walt
  11. Good news, I got a shipped notification yesterday. I didnt get anything before, no pieces, decals or parts out of scale, no kits at all. So Im hoping I will get a nice box with two kits and the decals to go with them. I will post what I get as soon as it arrives. Thanks again for everyones help on this.
  12. Thank you gentlemen, I still have not had received such email. But then again Im in the colonies, maybe it takes longer
  13. Thanks magman, no I didnt. I checked my order online after I read this and then posted. It shows it as being processed, but not shipped. I guess if I didnt request a refund then I must be on backorder list? But it list as being in stock. Im confused, well more than normally anyway. I guess one of these days I'll find a pleasant surprise in the mailbox. If not , well if one lends a friend 20 dollars and then never hears from them again, it was money well spent.
  14. Must be nice to have got something at least. I placed my order for the 1/72 MQ-9 (2fer kit) on the 17th of June, as of today nada. But they got my money 2 months ago.
  15. Would that be the Italeri kit #1313? I have the earlier kit and dont think it had the -5 cowling.
