  1. Just saw this thread as I'm glad I did. The MH-53 is a great helo and this kit is the super. I love the scratch build you are doing. πŸ‘πŸ»
  2. Wow, some nice work going on here. The tail looks awesome. I'll follow alongπŸ˜‰
  3. Just catching up on your progress bro. Glad to see you are dry fitting everything πŸ˜‰ Now, as for your pit...I have the same pit but I have yet to use it. Instead of trying to explain you what you need to do just check out the link below. I found it for you and this individual also used the Aires pit and shows clearly where you need to cut in order to fit. However, from reading through this thread I found out this set also deals with shrinkage issues. 😞 http://www.arcforums.com/forums/air/index.php?/topic/295072-f-16c-barak-with-goodies/&page=2#comment-2826506
  4. Boy looking at that bottle of detol brings bad memories. I can already smell it and I haven't seen it in 20 years. Of course, it's the first time seeing it being used to clean models instead if wounds πŸ˜†
  5. Just saw your thread Antti. You are onto a great start already. Interesting to see you have found some factory drawings of this icon. It's a must for any aviation modeler to have one sitting in their shelf. So, I will follow along and enjoy your build. Now don't shy away from posting as many photographs as this thread can hold Mike
  6. I saw this thread before but didn't clink into it as this subject isn't my cup of tea. However, tonight I read the title bit more carefully as I saw the 1/32 and decided to look inside...and glad I did...H-e-l-l-o! It is still not the subject I'm into as I don't model prop much, but your skills...Wow!! they are worth seeing in action. You have talent my friend and I'll follow along to see if I can learn something from this COOL work. Mike
  7. Nice work on the rivets. Yes, those archer rivets are pretty easy to use and create a convincing result. You are doing great and I think, for me at least, this will be the most detailed Sea King yet.
  8. Yep, WP stuff is pretty good. I would let you have mine (SP), but unfortunately I only have one myself. Hopefully, WP will reissue them soon. As for your build, I think you'll be fine....just don't be in hurry to glue to all at once. Measure twice cause it pays so nice...in the end that is
  9. Just saw this thread, and I must say it's.......totally awesome and I love the extra info that I don't normally see in most wip threads. I have couple off these hasegawa kits and they are very nice in this scale, but I agree with few guys here that we need on in 1/35 or 32. It will be huge but well worth the plastic Anyway, great work so far and a must follow along. So, keep up the good work
  10. Tamiya Viper is heck of kit. I have couple in my stash to build...just need the time. Have you consider and special markings or what's in the box? Can't wait to follow along. Good Luck Mike
  11. I've been thinking about grabbing this kit for a while. Just haven't pulled the trigger, so I'll follow along and see your work helps me twist my arm into getting one soon Mike
  12. Holy cow, look at that deck and tower. This by far, hands down, the best sub model I have ever seen. You are very skillful model my friend. I sure will hope that you never get burn out with your wip as I'm loving it and learning a lot. Thanks for sharing your work Mike
  13. Simply outstanding! Your 3D parts are super and adds a lot to the tower. Mike
  14. Simply amazing! This is going to be by far the best build Type VIIc U-boat ever. Mike
  15. Just saw this and I'm liking what I see. You are doing a great job. There is an EC-121 at a museum that is about an hour away and it's a good size aircraft...and sexy curves I didn't realize this kit has been released again and I'm not familiar with PlusModels. I'll have to look into this and see what else they created. Well, you keep up the good work! Mike
  16. Nice to see another build of the big Chinook. And really nice to see another MH-47E I have one of each E/G conversion from Werner Wings I just need to make time and start building...it's shame life has to have priorty over modeling Mike
  17. Sig Sauer sure make great looking hand guns. A good buddy has two of their pistols and they shoot great. Bit out of my price range but hope to change that someday Btw, not to continue it here and side track your wip, but I was wondering what are the gun laws in UK?
  18. Wow, some amazing work. I love that laser cutter and the detail you created with it. It's a handy little tool for sure. I don't suppose you sell those wooden details?
  19. Nice, it looks like a great little kit out of the box. Your friend will be fully happy to have this on her desk
  20. I saw this one before but love seeing it again. It looks awesome.
  21. For an old kit you sure nailed it Black Bunny rules
  22. Good Lord, that's one cool kitty! Do you build this online? I sure would love to see how you build it, especially the paint job Anywy, thanks for sharing Mike
  23. Nice subject choice. I have been thinking about getting similar kit to build in the Indian AF markings.
